KB, I hope you pay him in ale and peanuts. Take advantage of that 'childhood friend' thing.

Cheers!

Re: Is Everybody Ready?

I didn't solidify my story idea until today. 758 words, not bad. I can catch up.

Re: iPod Touch/iPhone App

well how about at least an iPhone web app, i.e., an iPhone formatted access to the forums here?

I agree, the iPhone is so cool I want to use it for everything......except writing. One-fingered typing is maddeningly slow when you can crank out 85+wpm on a full keyboard.

Getting organized

Organization seems to be a never-ending quest. Nevertheless, I pursue it. I need to organize the many story ideas and half-written projects lying around. I would like to be able to track and sort by status (draft, edit, concept, etc.) as well as using software to develop, store and track ideas for s...

Forum avatars [never mind!]

First I apologize for posting this here - couldn't find a forum for issues with the forum....

Is anyone else having problems getting their avatar to load?

Re: metronome is keeping track of your time line

They are used in music mostly to keep the pace. As I thought about it, I realized that I am in search of a visual time line tool, since I do use them... like the one that my windows program had. So will report back when I find one I am very familiar with metronomes, I just didn't understand what th...

Re: Hmm have not thought about it

and I created a folder for the timeline and started inserting the dates for the metronome... it will not quite be visual... but it may work Nadin, I have a feeling that a line was cut off as it appears that you started in the middle of a sentence. Could you elaborate on your timeline? What is this ...

On the contrary Vic, thank you for de mist ifying that typographical aberration. Oh my - a typo leads to a spray on words! (sorry, couldn't figure out how to properly italicize that one) But I rather liked 'fogging the proverbial' -- I think it has some potential. And it is especially handy ...

Re: I'm revising right now.

Excellent idea! I just finished a rough draft that is autobiographical in nature (for NaNoWriMo) and I am *really* going to need to do a lot of rearranging. Since WriMo is so time-sensitive I just wrote as I remembered things. So Paragraph 5 from Day 10 might have actually occurred after Paragraph 1...
