How could I copy and paste a clickable link to the editor?

When I drag and drop a link from the address bar of Firefox to the editor that link is clickable, so I can click it and the page is shown in Firefox. When I copy and paste a link (or more) it is not clickable. How could I copy and paste a clickable link to the editor?

Re: Show path / location of item in Binder?

Thank you. And sorry for my poor expression. I meant, how can Scrivener permanently show the complete path (in that line or else always being visible). Or you can just leave the mouse in the title bar there to get a tooltip. I canot geit it to work, no such tooltip appears hovering the pointer over ...

Re: How can one change the background color of a document / folder?

Question: When scrolling or moving the cursor through documents merged in a Scrivenings pane, how one can identify which document the cursor is in, either by displaying its name, or by showing where it is located in the Binder or the Outliner? Yes, exactly, I wished I would have been able to say it...

Re: How can one change the background color of a document / folder?

Thank you very much, Jim. I'm not sure I understand the question. Does "put the cursor in one of the scenes" mean "select the scene from the Binder or the Outliner"? Or does it mean "put the cursor in the Editor"? Very sorry for this, yes, the editor I meant. Biff, have...

Content of folders in search result not shown?

When I click a folder containing an item or more in a search result or a collection its contents often or almost always is not shown, I then leave the collection / result, click an item outside the folder and then click the folder again, now its content is shown. How could Scrivener show the content...

Re: How can one change the background color of a document / folder?

Hello Jim, Very many thanks for the screenshots. Yes, it is quite close, indeed, a very useful manner I will use. When you now select in the Binder (put cursor in lower panel before) or Outliner (upper panel) e.g. the folder "Acts" you will see all of its containing secens in the lower pan...

Re: How can one change the background color of a document / folder?

Hello Jim. If you want the background of documents colored differently within *the editor*, as mentioned previously, you cannot currently do that. Editor background color applies to all documents. Yes, yes, I know, I just tried a new explanation for the new question. If you want documents colored di...

Re: How can one change the background color of a document / folder?

Hello broadsides, Thank you very much. Actually this is not what I wanted in this thread, but it is what I wanted, if I remember it right, in another thread, really great, very useful. Sorry for my bad explanation. What I meant is quite similar to the labels you just told me but for the background o...

Re: How can one change the background color of a document / folder?

Hello Jim, Many thanks for your efforts. Yes, I couldn't find a way either. Yes, sorry, I should have done it already: when I select a folder containing (sub) folders / documents I would like to be able to (easily) differentiate between e.g. special scenes by different colors (not by text formatting...

Re: Can one set a link to a document / folder in the Binder?

The result is that when you click on “File B” you see the contents of “File A” and if you edit a word in “File B” then click on “File A” that edit shows up there. Yes, exactly, now I see how bad my explanation was, sorry. There are two approaches here in making that happen, the link and the clone. ...
