Compile Frustration

Hello, I am trying to make good use of the Compile options. They are daunting. Fortunately, I think I am trying to do something simple. I would like text that is Georgia throughout to compile to a smaller size of the same font. Also, when combining files, I would like them separated by a single line...

Jumping to parts of a document

I want to jump from the main writing area to the title area through a key combination. Is there a way?

Re: Scrivener for the Apple Watch!

But we must have Scrivener for the Apple Watch! I MUST be able to read my documents by swiping one word at a time. Squinting is essential to my workflow.

Panel for footnote and comments

Scrivener has just the right amount of windows. There's a place for whatever kind of idea or text you have at hand. Some of these have windows to themselves (scratchpad) and some have multiple views (keywords). I suggest a window like that for keywords for footnotes and comments so that they can be ...

cmd-K splitting by criteria

I searched for this and found "by Maria on Sun Jun 03, 2007 12:11 am Great news, now just a few ideas for the beginning: - Importing a larger File and dividing automatically wherever a header is, (Cmd-K if done manually) " I have a file with 3800 entries I would like to divide in exactly t...

Re: Evernote synchronisation

After all this time, AmberV's initial post nails what I think Evernote sync ought to be. I subset of that, which might be simpler to employ, is shared note links. I understand they behave as webpages. They seem to in my Scrivener projects.

Re: Batch Meta-data

Thanks for the reply!

I suppose I could use Status to do what I want. It is funny how one thing occurs to you and another doesn't. Thanks for putting it on the list, too.

Batch Meta-data

Hello,

I see that, in outliner view, "Label" or "Status" can be batch added, but custom meta-data appears not to be. Is it possible? I have several hundred items I'd like to modify at once.

Thanks

Re: The mysterious disappearing file

Being able to turn off TM's local backup might do the trick. I'll try. Thanks.

Re: The mysterious disappearing file

This may be the same issue, but on steroids. I am using Scrivener ver. 2.2 15858 on Lion ver. 10.7.2. This happens only in certain conditions, but has happened enough I think I can say this is how it happens for sure. If Time Machine is making a local backup to disk (but not w/ an external drive) an...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - What Do You Want? [PLEASE READ FIRST]

Cobbling together what I have read and adding my own bits I see this: A hierarchy that can be re-arranged somehow (by folder or tag?) and viewed The ability to compile these as far as the order of the documents Both the Draft and Research folders Notecards Preservation of any formatting *Seamless in...

Shortcut for labels

A shortcut to edit a label for an item would be helpful. My trackpad won’t double-click any longer so I have no way to change them.

Thanks,

Jason

Re: The status of the next update and 2.0

Hello, I make an effort to find a support companies which have great products and customer support. You have both. I'll pay happily. You listen to us users. You've made a point that user contributions are part of the next version. You'd never see a phone company do that. Awesome that you do. Scriven...

Can't click to edit label colors

I'm using a MacBook unibody and with either the trackpad or the USB Mighty Mouse I cannot click the swatch to edit colors for labels. I can click fine anywhere else within the program or on my system, so I fear a bug. Any ideas?
