Re: Universal Notes?

On the Mac version, you can have multiple project notes and you can view them in their own project notes window, and then you can view them all in the inspector alongside any item, too. Wait, wait, wait! Keith, you mentioned in another thread that you weren't willing to make the Targets window dock...

Re: Scrivener 2.2 for Mac Now Available

Keith, You really should start tracking how much money your program has driven into Apple sales. Other than just the trivia value of knowing how many millions Mac sales you are responsible for, maybe Apple would recognize your program as a success story and outfit your shop with new Macs so that you...

Re: Scrivener 2.2 for Mac Now Available

Not if, only when. I'm less than seven thousand words away from the goal, have enjoyed the time I've been authoring in Scrivener and look forward to buying it on December 2nd. Thank you for being so generous with such a deep discount for NaNoWriMo participant that use your software to write their no...

Re: Scrivener 2.2 for Mac Now Available

Should those of us using the NaNoWriMo trial version from the L&L NaNoWriMo download page just drive on using that copy?

Re: It's up.

My congrats to the Scrivener team. I began playing with the Windows version of the program last year during NaNoWriMo and was planning to do so again this year, but somewhere along the way decided I couldn't wait and just bought a Mac to be able to use Scrivener immediately. Still might need to buy ...

Re: Moving a project from PC to PC?

It takes an iOS 5 device to get it, but then any file type can go into it: Box.net is offering 50GB free if you log in with an iOS 5 device. I just got my 'upgrade' this weekend after installing iOS 5 on my iPad. I've uploaded a few MS Word and PDF documents, so it isn't only for iOS 5 related conte...

Paintbrush please

I was copying in a good bit of text today from various sources and having to manually format it all was driving me crazy. Please consider implementing a paintbrush tool so that I can highlight text in the document that is already formatted like I want it, double-click the paintbrush, and then highli...

Re: phrase search and timeline?

I don't think the timeline feature will be in the initial 1.0 release of Scrivener for Windows, but I might be wrong. At the least you need to be able to assign date/time meta-data to documents (Scene start date/time - Scene end date/time) so that they could be mapped to a linear timeline. Maybe lat...

Re: 9th NOV - LEE'S UPDATE

Very good Idea. Perhaps you can use something existing I liked this one that exactly does what you proposed: http://uservoice.com/plans?utm_campaign=Referral&utm_content=sidebar&utm_medium=Ad+-+Site+Sidebar&utm_source=myinfo.uservoice.com they are using this one, but I don't know which ...

Re: 9th NOV - LEE'S UPDATE

That said, while the type lag seems to have been addressed for most people, I'm still having a problem. It's not just a lag, but when the type does appear, it bears no resemblance to what I typed in the first place. It's random letters. I haven't had these issues with any other programs, so it isn'...

Re: Latest Beta includes Hotfix?

There was a 1.1 and 1.2 release? I thought I'd been chacking the download page frequently and only saw the "Beta 1" download link. Where did you find a notice that 1.1 and 1.2 were available for download? Ive got to learn to fish to make sure I know what the L&L process is pushing thes...

Latest Beta includes Hotfix?

I guess its just because I'm new to the L&L forum and support sites, but I'm having a hard time keeping up with where to get THE LATEST version of the Scrivener for Windows application. I'm trying to install the program on another computer and I saw a few days back that a Hotfix was posted, and ...

Re: Scrivener for Windows... On its way.
Yay! Super super super....excited. I can't wait to hand you my money Keith. You deserve it.
I agree, I'm ready to hand over my money now. This would help me with two things: 1. It would ( hopefully) remove the start-up pop-up reminding me it's a Beta. 2. It would g...

Re: Bug: No way to undo Autopopulate of index card

The tutorial says that: "You can auto-generate a synopsis by clicking on the button in the top-right of the inspector: if any text is selected in the editor, it will be copied into the synopsis ; if no text is selected, the first few lines of text will be used." But I haven't been able to ...
