Re: Is it possible to change the language of the software ?

Be careful with the Hungarian translation - it can be tricky

Re: Know a good blog hosting company?

I am a bit loath to join this conversation because I use JustHost and have never had a problem but I am only an amateur f**king about with a plaything website. It's always up there and there is loads of stuff they provide to help new people. Someone will now tell me they are the devil incarnate of w...
I will use Scrivener + Dropbox for text editing and writing new chapters. I'm very important! I can not wait for the Scrivener for iPad... :(
Why are you very important?

Re: eSellerate install failed with error: -2003

Downloaded the update on my MacBook today and got the error - followed the instructions step by step, no problem, all sorted.

Didn't try to pretend my problem was different to others because of my particular software skills or incompetence or simply inability to follow simple instructions.

Re: Customer Service

I read that article over the weekend and my thought was that every single Apple employee knows how they personally would react if it happened to them so why would they assume someone else would react any differently? If it's legitimate (and it seemed to be) then give them the replacement £50 voucher...

Customer Service

I had a particularly difficult client "discussion" today (nothing to do with writing) and foremost in my mind was wanting to punch the guys lights out, but for some reason I thought of how Keith and Ioa deal with some of the criticism about their fantastic product posted on here, and I did...

I am going to learn how to complete cryptic crosswords.

Probably the closest I will get to writing something with words in a meaningful order that is not work related. :x

Excellent autobiography of Salman Rushdie's Fatwa years. It is compelling reading and much to my shame makes me realise how much I fell for the media and government bullshit over the Fatwa and SR's protection at the time. His treatment was shocking in the "free world".

Imdb is my primary medication for avoiding total memory loss. I just wish it included people I vaguely recognise from Uni, work and various pubs.

Not being picky or owt but surely the 'however' means it must be 'I have' rather than 'I've'.

Re: Prometheus

What I find most strange about my behaviour here is that I bother to actually link to the site in my forum profile. Just had a look pigfender and I must say it is a step up on mine which just says "under construction" though I did code that myself as well. I really must not make decisions...

I think maybe the lesbian love scene in Dragon Tattoo has impacted on my critical analysis of her acting skills.

I have every intention of watching Prometheus but this subject topic has made me realise that I am just really shallow because I will enjoy it regardless, simply because Noomi Rapace is in it :)

Interesting reading...I bought fountain pen, decent quality Scheaffer, and started to use it in a moleskin notebook as a journal/diary. For some reason the ink and paper didn't agree and each letter looked like a Rorschach blot. On top of that years of computer usage have left my handwriting in desp...
