Re: Crash

Nope, I haven't had trouble renaming imported things since the first time. Maybe it was a delayed crash from importing, period? I posted on a different thread that I can import most files, but when I try to import a slightly larger RTF (395kb), it crashes.

Re: Import crashes Scrivener

Dunno if this helps the developers at all, but when I import smaller RTF files and images, there's no problem. Scrivener only crashes for me when I try to import my larger research notes RTF file. My smaller files are nearly all under 100kb, but the one giving me trouble is 395kb.

Re: Initial Impressions Very Favorable

I've never even seen the Mac version of Scrivener so I'm brand new to the software. The installation was amazingly simple, and the tutorial is super thorough and easy to follow. I'm basically in love with this after only two hours of playing.

Re: Window Size

Awesome, thank you! I already made note of the crashes on the other forum. I kind of suspected that's what the problem was. Thank you!

Window Size

Is there any way for Scrivener to automatically remember window size and position, and corkboard card size? Maybe it's because every time Scrivener's closed for me has been a random crash, but I end up having to readjust the window and cards when I open it again.

Re: Crash

Just crashed again. And again, it happened upon trying to import a file.

Re: Spell Check

No problem! :D I'm used to being prompted to provide screenshots for issues. It helps that sometimes I'm terrible at explaining problems.

Re: Crash

I just got a crash as well. I imported an image and went to rename it. Soon as I did that, Scrivener went kaboom. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, Dell Studio XPS 1640 laptop.

Re: Spell Check

This happens in mine as well. A lot of the text in the tutorial is underlined in red. Not sure if this is remotely helpful, but here's a link to a screenshot: http://i55.tinypic.com/238l8k.jpg
