Also make sure that the little word count goal bar isn't continuously flashing/loading. Enter any nonzero number and it will stop doing that if your model has that bug. :)

Scrivener Links

Howdy all,

I'm wondering if it would be possible to create a scrivener link on a notecard in the final version ? The reason is I sometimes use the image cards to storyboard with and it would be cool to be able to link a photo card to a text file :)

Word Count Goal Bar Continuously Loads[BUG LOGGED]

Before I enter a target, the green loading word count bar continuously loads from 0 to 100 percent over and over again as if it is trying to calculate. I would rather if I haven't entered a goal for it to just stay on 0 or something because the continuous flashing is bothersome (and I don't always h...

Re: Pixellated Corkboard Background

That happens for me too :)

I'm just happy I got it up and running again! I redownloaded it and got rid fo a "read only" option that had been selected, and then I was able to open it up from the tutorial and then it kept working. I have no idea what exactly fixed it, but something did! :D

Re: Program not Opening

Yeah you're right. My windows is 86 and wouldn't even let me install it.

Hmm. I have no idea what messed it up as it was working great (aside from the minor bugs).

Re: Won't open

I do have a couple of questions. You say you "redownloaded" it. Did it function before? What operating system are you running on? What made you decide to redownload and reinstall? It used to work fine. I thought there was a new beta so I redownloaded it. Oddly I think I was wrong. I have ...

Won't open[ADDITIONAL INFO]

Howdy! I redownloaded scrivener and now it won't open. I get a "Scrivener has encountered a problem and has to close" error.

I have the 2008 redistributable downloaded, as well as SP3. It used to work so now I'm majorly confused! >.<

Re: Program not Opening

Mine won't start either (only just started doing this tonight after I redownloaded it), and I'm getting an error message. ("needs to close")

I'm installing the x64 version of the 2008 redistributable and I'll see if that makes a difference.

Ach! New download won't start

Hello everyone, I downloaded Scrivener again because I had heard a few fixes had been implemented. However, now it won't start! (I am running XP, SP3, and the 2005 and 2008 C+ redistributable thingies are installed.) I get this message: ".exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." ...

Re: .rtf import issues

I got the strange -360 and -480 numbers at the beginning of every paragraph when I imported an RTF file that had been created by Scrivener 2.0 on a Mac, so I the issue isn't just with Word files. Vanessa I got some of these with RTF's created by Liquid Story Binder, too. I figured it was some sort ...
