Re: HOW TO DOWNLOAD BETA 1.8

Can't get the 1.8 Update. I tell it to check for updates and it does then says: "A new update is available for download." But if neither downloads one or gives me a link. Finally got it. I'm sure this is not how it's supposed to work, but I had to manually start the program autoupdate-win...

Re: 24TH FEB - LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 1.8 IS HERE

You can try the 'Check for Update...' feature on the Help menu to update the code base - I've called this beta 018. Lee I just tried that, and it told me I'm running version 017 and that an update is ready to download, but without a link to actually download it? Sorry about all the constant questio...

Colored Notecards

According to Lee in one of his recent posts, we should have the capability to have colored notecards in 1.7. Did I misinterpret this or is slated for the actual release? If we have the capability now, how do I change the color. I looked in options and I can change the border, the separator, and even...

Re: Saving

I installed it after I noticed that my learned words were still getting the red underline (they still do, but I just ignore them). This is really flummoxing me because I never had any issue when it came to saving. I noticed it yesterday that it didn't sync on the HP laptop, but it was okay on the ne...

Re: Saving

I just checked again, and the new stuff is gone. It's like I didn't even open up the project :? No clue what happened.

Saving

I haven't had this problem before, but after working on revising a chapter yesterday afternoon, I finished it, hit "save" and closed out the project. Later, I remembered I wanted to write a note to myself, I opened the chapter and all the new material I wrote had reverted to the previous e...

Re: Quirky Full-Screen Mode

Never mind...I figured what the problem was: my mouse. I was using a wireless one and I forgot that I had the same problem with Word a few months back.

Quirky Full-Screen Mode

I don't if other people have had this problem. I did a search and couldn't find it. I was playing around with full-screen-mode and I inadvertently resized the paper width to narrow. When I tried to get it back to it's original size, the little slider kept reverting back to narrow. I somehow managed ...

Re: Learned words[ADDITIONAL INFO]

I just tried it on my Asus eee netbook, and it learns the words and appears in my personal word list, but the red underline is still there. I'm running Windows 7 Starter

Re: BETA 1.6 FIXES & KNOWN BUGS REMAINING

It does learn new words. If you go to Edit>>>Options>>>>Auto-Correction there's a button that says "View Personal Word List." Click on that and you'll see your words. However, when I add the words they're still have that squiggly red underline.

Re: CURRENT BETA DOWNLOAD (RELEASE 1.6 Win + Linux)

I had problems too after I installed it and got a weird error message. So what I did was I uninstalled it and then rebooted my machine. Reinstalled it again and it worked fine.

Re: 31st JAN - LEE'S UPDATE

This may prove useful: RunAsDate is a small utility that allows you to run a program in the date and time that you specify. This utility doesn't change the current system date and time of your computer, but it only injects the date/time that you specify into the desired application. http://www.nirs...

Re: Margins in Beta 1.4

I did try creating a new doc and it didn't work. The margins reverted back to block style paragraphs.
