Text Selection Quirk

When you select a text and then hit one of the arrow keys to try and bring the cursor to either the beginning of the selection or the end of the selection, the cursor doesn't move to either location as expected. The cursor moves one letter in from whichever end of the selection you dragged the mouse...

Scratch Pad Options?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but I was playing around with the Scratch Pad today and was wondering if there were any configurable options for it? Like the ability to change font, text size, scratchpad background color, the opacity of the window, etc? I see in the manual th...

Re: Dragging and dropping binder files

To put something in a folder with nothing else in it, you wait til the black circle disappears then let go of the mouse to get the document in. I never had problems with the other method myself but the black lines do help with locating where you're putting something but the new method is a bit count...

Re: How to get yellow on blue full screen?

Are you not going to Tools -> Options -> Appearance and then under the Colors area Fullscreen -> Text?

I'm not sure what pop-up options you're talking about so if you could clarify, we might all be better able to help you.

Re: Diffuculty Nesting files

I've been told you need to wait for the black circle to disappear completely so that Scrivener recognizes that it's to be nested. It takes a bit of getting used to initially but I haven't had too many issues with it now.

Re: LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 035 RELEASED

Yay! Thanks for all the hard work! I really really love the fact the binder is now collapsible. I've been wanting that forever. :D I've mentioned this a couple of other places but I've never gotten an official reply. When the option to have the Start Panel start when there's no projects open is tick...

Re: Decisions

I believe all updates that have 1.x on them are free but when Windows gets to a 2.0 stage you'll need to pay an upgrade fee. If it goes along with the Mac scale, it's only about half of what you'd pay if you bought only 2.0.

Re: What happens when Beta 029 expires in 2 days time

A new beta should be released in the next few days with a new expiration date. Betas will continue to be released until 1.0 is released.

Re: Decisions

Windows 1.0 will have the features of Mac 1.54 and while Lee's managed to sneak in some Mac 2.0 features it is nowhere near all of them. After 1.0 has been released is when more features from 2.0 are to be brought into the Windows version.

Me too. As glad as I am to be able to just use it as is, I'd really hoped to get back to opening several projects at time. With the error reporting version, my spellcheck no longer works too. :-\

Is there an ETA on when the crashing due to opening multiple projects will be fixed?

It's not currently a feature in the Windows Beta but is scheduled for inclusion at some point after 1.0 has been released.

Start Panel Does Not Go Away

On my netbook where I'm able to open projects from the Start Panel, it doesn't go away after I've opened a project. It's always gone away in the previous betas. I'm not sure if this is a result of the issue that's causing it to crash on other operating systems. I prefer starting projects from the St...

Re: 29 crashing on opening docs

Yeah, Stacy, it was quite a surprise for me when it worked on the netbook. I was really hoping a fix would be out this past weekend. :(
