Re: What is the new feature in V1.0?

I think it might be the automatic backup feature? You can set if it backs up when you open the project, close the project, or only does it manually.

Re: Error message on install release 1.0

I got this error too on my Windows XP netbook but like Gina Scrivener's been running fine with no issue so far.

Re: Deauthorize copy?

I uninstalled Beta 49 then installed the 1.0 download and it gives the full 30 trial. I'm not sure if that process would work on your setup but something to try?

Re: 3 bugs in 49

I think in regards to #3 the scroll bar is supposed to fade away when you've been working in Fullscreen mode. I think you're noticing it because background opacity isn't high and so allows the image of your desktop to show through.

Re: Minimum screen resolution

Yes, you should be fine. My netbook has XP and Scrivener runs fine. The only issue is that when you have the Inspector open you won't be able to see the bottom of the application window if I'm remembering correctly.

Re: Index Card width

Sorry, I should've been clearer. I was asking about what version of Windows you were using. So you're not seeing the cards get bigger when you move the Size slider? When I pull mine all the way to the right the card fills up my whole screen and when I move them to the left they get really small so t...

Re: Index Card width

If you change the size or ratio of the cards the width widens.

Table Cells Don't Remember Applied Formating

I inserted a table with 2 columns and 10 or so rows into a Scrivener document. I selected all the rows in one column and applied the Bold formatting but when I went to actually type in the one of the cells the formatting reverted to normal text instead of bolded text. This also applies to Underlinin...

Re: Where are the index card colour options?

I believe the Index Card themes have been removed due to some issues with customization.

Re: Name Generator? Document Icons?

Custom Document Icons aren't available in the Windows Beta right now but are scheduled to be added at a later time.

To find the Name Generator, go to Tools -> Writing Tools. It will be listed there.

Re: Colour options in Beta 046

Hi Lee, Going off the point of Scrivener matching across the Mac and Windows platforms, I learned from a Mac 2.0 user that the option of thumbtacks and the tinting of index cards on the Corkboard was removed when it was updated to 2.0. Is that the end plan for Scrivener for Windows? If it is, I'd li...

Re: BETA 046 RELEASED

When the option to have the Start Panel start when there's no projects open is ticked and then you open a project, the Start Panel doesn't go away like it has in the past.

This has been present through several betas and is still in Beta 46.

Re: LEE'S UPDATE - BETA 035 RELEASED

I've mentioned this a couple of other places but I've never gotten an official reply. When the option to have the Start Panel start when there's no projects open is ticked and then you open a project, the Start Panel doesn't go away like it has in the past. Sorry, this has cropped up in a few place...
