Re: [LH4663] Doing Find in Scrivenings Mode

Just a hello, and very deserved appreciation, Lee.

As for a long time, now. You put together, what is a great thing for many,
and so you can accept that smile from me.

Re: Scriv 3 Beta - Download over and over?

Jennifer, I had a look and you at Scrivener seem to be using phpBB, which has an extension which could reduce confusion and surprise here, by updating the Posting Date to a current date -- after you update the Post with new releases. https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/change_post_time/ To ...

Beta 8 - issue with older iPad conversion at first

I've been using an original iPad 2 with the beta for more than a year, and it's been fine. The difference today is that I initiated this project on the iPad, instead of on the Win10 laptop. What happened will show in the screenshot below: a conversion was announced by Scrivener Win10, but then when ...

Re: Import web page missing options to select formats & not possible to edit imported web page

Pretty sensible, accurate, and read fully through, helpful advice, from someone posting that whack an avatar :)

Cheers, Jestar, that which you put up there feels a blast from the seventies, or maybe not later...and so we should especially enjoy...

Best,

Amazing work, you guys...

I just signed in late here on the Pacific Coast, and found your list of all things accomplished. Enough work just to write that many down :) And I write this so you know how appreciated, I am sure by many quiet but here. Take care, Tiho and Lee, and MM too, present as she is, and Katherine, Bryan; o...

Re: Install for Release Candidate 6 hangs

The problem may caused by the VM and not Scrivener. I have been using the betas and RC's on Wine using Linux. With the numerous betas and RC's, I have only had the install fail twice. The first time I left it until the next Beta. The second time is now. I can't update and I can't re-install. It is ...

Re: Session Targets timeout - Session Targets will be reset

Yes, I've seen this too - mentioned in a report about multiple document opening problems: Here's maybe a further clue. - I tried multiple projects, one after another - at first seemed to sork - but on the third one, I got a strange flash-up alert that disappeared, actually in two steps: = something ...

Re: LOOKING GOOD -- THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!!!!

Yes, indeed... Having just produced something 'large' myself, it's easy to appreciate once again, how m any details there are always to be filled in, from the point where all the main work appears to be done. This is the thing to be really grateful for, that the Scrivener team who we know just keeps...

Re: Grateful for the good news

@caenissnow, I think you can be quite confident that the Scrivener team are going to 'finish it'. Realize that they are in several locations, UK and Australia principally, others in North America etc.. So everyone including you is protected. You are further and always protected, in that your Scriven...

Re: [Bug] Extra space after "v" in Arial

I wonder if the problem could be that your File | Options settings aren't up-to-date with the careful fixes for such problems introduced some months ago? As part of this thorough work by Tiho and Lee, there were intelligent Default settings provided, both labelled for Font Hinting , and those do see...

Re: RC2 (and about what is a release candidate)

A general comment: indeed I think this choice to go to RC and then release now reflects considerable judgement (and listening!!) with this Scrivener community. Compliments Tiho and Lee, as ever. A related situation: Affinity has continued their rapid release/beta progress, and I noticed something in...
