I tried that to see how it works. Really quite neat, HOWEVER, I now have 40 or 50 subfolders all with the same name. It would be nice if each paragraph folder (or whatever it is called) took the first four or five words of the paragraph as its title. That way it would be easier to move back and fort...
I want to be able to highlight various bits and pieces of text in a document, or in several documents, all having some common feature. Then I want to format search for them, and copy them into a common document, or at least a common folder with subfiles. Then, when I am in the common document, I wan...
That (clicking -- Return) opens up a blank line to type in the keyword. What I would like is for the Right Mouse Click to bring up the Add Keywords list. Like going to the spiky wheel and clicking on it and then clicking on Add Keywords, but instead of going to the wheel and clicking twice, you just...
Sorry. For me Ctrl-Opt-Cmd-J doesn't seem to work. Going to the keywords window and doing a right click would work for me best. I come from a Windows world and only recently have returned to Apple (my first computer was an Apple II, but was PC for most of the interim) and mouse-clicks have become in...
Thanks for that. I'll put a little sticky by my computer with this (and a zillion other commands from a wide range of programs) to remind me what to do. (That is NOT a sarcastic comment; just a statement of reality.)
When I do a search by format (comment, character format, etc) it would be nice that when there was a hit, besides highlighting the text, the binder highlight should also move to the relevant binder entry. That way one can see where the hit is within the overall document; otherwise you have to search...
At the risk of being cut off from this forum (i.e. I have no evidence that this might happen, but my suggestion is likely to be unpopular), may I ask that the content of the Announcements page be limited basically to ANNOUNCEMENTS, and not to various acts of congratulations, hopes, desires, in-comme...
I second this suggestion. Very useful, especially a year or two down the road when you have no idea where exactly you got what you got. Also very important when writing papers, etc. and you want the exact url data.
I agree. Having full screen stay in place when you shift to another program is a BIG plus, and it makes SCR 2.0 less appealing to me. I'll stick with it but this will be a perennial complaint until such time as full screen persistence is returned.
when I use the corkboard I sometimes use rather long titles. When I click on them to view them, they do not wrap and so I have to move my cursor along to the end to find out just what I had written. Is there any way to make the title of the corkboard wrap, perhaps by clicking on it?
Is there a shortcut for Page Down and Page Up. I used to use Wordstar and the shortcuts were Ctrl-C and Ctrl-R (Down and Up). I can't seem to find an equivalent shortcut on Scrivener (or any Cocoa product). Is it possible to create one. Thanks. Don PS: GREAT product. I am really looking forward to V...
