It would be cheap or free, and it would serve as a gateway drug to full on Scrivener like TextWrangler does for BBEdit. Whenever it's released.. I'll buy iOS Scrivener without a second thought... Scrivener is the best software out there for writing.. and I expect the iOS version will further enhance that no end.. Scrolling for me in Scrivener is just as smooth as any other application on OSX...

Why don't you just get f.lux (https://justgetflux.com)... it makes the 'glare' of the blue screen go away later at night... quite a few of us use it, and once you get used to it... it works just great for getting rid of eye strain at night...
