Keyboard shortcut to edit note?

In Scrivener, a tab allows you to edit a document title.

In Scapple, though, it just indents the text. Is there some other keyboard shortcut to edit a note's text? Otherwise every time you have to double click with a mouse. It's cumbersome...

Thanks.

Allow quick-reference windows to be in outline or corkboard mode

This would be useful so one could edit with as many different views of the binder as desired, all open in different windows. It would also allow for much more effective use of dual monitors.

Re: Add to autocorrect with right-click

I'm trying out Typinator, and it's working great for this so far -- thanks for the tip! I find that I can add new spelling mistakes pretty quickly with a shortcut.

View binder in new window?

Is there any way to have another window with another view of the binder? With large binders, it would be terribly useful to be able to have multiple views hoisted in different areas, for purposes of comparison, etc. Is this feature available or planned? Thanks.

Re: Add to autocorrect with right-click

Thanks, but I think I got that part. What I was talking about is *adding* words that are then automatically autocorrected. For example, suppose I always mistype "fellow" as "fyellow" for some reason. If I right-click on "fyellow," I do indeed get "fellow" as a...

Re: Add to autocorrect with right-click

Oh, I see... that's too bad, since of course the chance that Apple will respond to my request seems low, and this would be a truly productivity-increasing boost for writers. Still, I just sent Apple a feedback request... thanks.

Excellent points, thanks. And thanks for the BTT suggestion -- hadn't heard of that.

Option to remap home/end keys to beginning/end of line

I love home/end having the Windows functions -- namely, beginning/end of line. It would be great if Scrivener created an option to allow it. I know there are ways to remap the keys system-wide, but often in web pages and other situations the typical beginning/end of document approach works well. It'...

Add to autocorrect with right-click

It would be incredibly helpful if Scrivener could have it so that when a word is misspelled and it isn't automatically corrected, that I could right-click on that word, and choose one of the correctly spelled words listed so that it autocorrects to that in the future every time. I should also be abl...

Re: Search by word count?

So one thing I discovered is that Word smart quotes are one of these characters. The other thing is that I tried to highlight some kind of invisible character that seemed like an entire line and paste it in, and then it set the beach ball spinning. It's been going for many minutes now. I think it's ...

Re: Search by word count?

Yup, those are exactly my settings too.

One thing I noticed: earlier you said that every word would be highlighted. But that is definitely not the case. Certain chunks within the documents appear to be highlighted: looks like chunks of 800 words? Would that make a difference?

Re: Search by word count?

And in fact I also just noticed that even the 800+ word search seems to be missing results that should be in it... I just found a different 3300 word document that doesn't come up in the 800+ word search.

Re: Search by word count?

Hrm, well that's just what I'm having a problem with.

^\W*(?:\w+\b\W*){800,} : I get a bunch of documents, including one with 3500 words.

^\W*(?:\w+\b\W*){2000,} : I get nothing.
