WATSON: (satisfied, studing a newspaper) Well, well, well.....! HOLMES: (anoyed) Well, well, well......What? WATSON: Well, it seams that they have used my idea, of dropping files on the tabs in the Finder. HOLMES: (still more annoyed) Which Finder! WATSON: Eehhh....in the new OSX Maverick HOLMES: (s...

C Doyle: The case of the missing feature.

C Doyle: The case of the missing feature. Holmes was sitting in a big armchair, lighting his famous pipe. A case had just been successfully finished. Holmes relaxed the only way he knew… Thinking deep, deep thoughts. At this particular moment it was about The Mating Rituals of Oysters. Watson was si...

Re: UPDATED: Scrivener 1.5 beta 3 now available

Since there already is an icon for that, I suggest that the doubleclick on the bar moves the bar to the middle of the available space for the two documents. In that way when you resiz...

Re: UPDATED: Scrivener 1.5 beta 3 now available

Hi It would be nice if the Speech icon in the toolbar worked like a toggle. As it is now clicking on the icon starts speech. Clicking on it again the speech just starts over. I would like that the second click stops the speech. Having speech start at the insertion point would be fantastic :-) Mic

Re: Non-Hollywood story approach?

Hi

I thank you all for your interesting and thorough input!

Dare I change the subject a bit to:

Re: Non-Hollywood story approach?

Hugh and Sean... Thanks to both of you

Googled Cahiers du cinema, but was not able to get any information what their particular approach/theori was.

Still think it is strange that non of the theories we know start from theme.

Re: Non-Hollywood story approach?
What do you mean by non-Hollywood story theories? Non-Campbell/Vogler/Field/McKee/Snyder/Truby etc, or just non-summer-blockbuster-spectacle? If the former, try watching some classic European cinema, especially French, such as Hiroshima Mon Amour, Last Year in Marie...
