Re: File recovery

What versions are you running on PC and Mac?

Have you tried opening the project on the PC?

How did you transfer/synch the projects between the PC and Mac?

Perfectly safe if you use it as the location for zip backups.

I didn’t call you an idiot, I called the people who reply all idiots.

I said it was a waste of time commenting on new posters who ask, because that will always happen, just a fact of life.

Re: Beta Expires Soon

Waste of time commenting on the new posters asking about the beta expiry. It will always happen. Bit like the 2000 address group email when idiots go Reply All with some dumb comment. No matter how many times you say ‘Don’t Reply All’ 10 or 20 idiots do! At least they are only killing electrons, not...

BUG? .27 - Page numbering PDF Output

Compiling to PDF results in page numbering beginning with first page no page number and second page numbered as 1.

Confirmed compiles correct in Mac and can find no differing settings.

Re: Will Scrivener for iPadOS allow multitasking

There's nothing wrong with the iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen. Why you would get rid of such a great unit just because of a glitch with the iOS upgrade puzzles me. The issue is not restricted to that model, impacts previous, iPhones from 8 to 11 and seems random. I have one and while it crashed on synching a...

Re: Thank you developers for all you are doing for a 1 time purchase price!

While I certainly could afford to pay more I appreciate Keith’s policy on pricing. It does keep Scrivener within the grasp of everyone who wants to try their hand at writing. That is one of the reasons (apart from the fact that Scrivener in any version on Mac, Win and iOS is the absolute ‘gold stand...

A If the Windows version were $20 as a nod for always been inferior to the $40 dollar mac version, then you could make a case... Maybe you don't agree with the perspective, but pretending it isn't valid or comprehendible is kind of silly. It's a pretty simple concept and I'm extremely positive that ...

Re: WIndows 3 Release: My Thoughts

It seems that in the past you were a helpful and nice character in this forum. Sad that newcomers only seem to find this jaded, one-trick-pony façade. Unnecessarily nasty. Though there are subjects I strongly disagree with Devinganger, and yes he can be prickly, if you look beyond his responses to ...

Re: WIndows 3 Release: My Thoughts

Probably from the fact that in 2016 you announced there would be no more free updates for 1.9 because 3.0 was right around the corner. Fair enough, but it's been three years since that announcement and all that can be said for a Windows release is that you're right on track to miss all of 2019 as w...

2. Having to download an .exe every few weeks it's now being released. See what I said before. 3. 1.9 it's a product marginally cheaper but greatly lacking when compared to Mac's v3. Windows dimes are as good as Mac's- Products should be something similar and by golly after almost three years they'...

And it had to accept that many people bought the product thinking that soon would enjoy the same ring and bells that the Mac counterpart. And, that caveats and legalese aside, announcements like August 30th and the it's a matter of weeks not months, among many others, led many to buy the product ex...

Re: Scrivener iOS syncing via Dropbox continues to crash the app

Since I filed my initial bug and posted here, no one from Literature and Latte has contacted me for more information, copies of the files the won't synch, or any other information that will help diagnose the problem. So I have a very hard time believing that you will ever solve the problem. Strange...
