[LH3851] Footnote Note not displayed in compile output

B.22

When compiling a document with footnotes to PDF , they are not appearing in the output document.

Compiling the same document in Mac V3 displays the footnote correctly.

Error? Missing something in setup?

Re: any news on Windows 3 version?

This question seems to be asked during every beta release/expire period. The answer is always the same: There has always been a new beta released immediately prior to the expiry of the current beta and you can be confident that will happen again, unless the final version is released on or before 15 ...

Re: It's official - Constructive Criticism as a form of improvement is DEAD!

But my frustration with V3 delays pales in comparison to my horrifying experience reading through the latest posts in these forums. The anger, vitriol, viciousness, and spite that characterizes the vast majority of the "conversations" is appalling. Constructive criticism used to be consid...

Re: Dissapointment in the Windows Team

“But don’t blame your failure as a writer on Scrivener” Checked back and yes, missed a couple of such comments. Looking at one in particular seemed the poster being referred to was claiming they couldn’t write due to the delay in V3 where they had 1.9, so the comment was somewhat BS. The poster was ...

Re: Scrivener 3.0 delay again and nobody ask why ??

And you are very rude guy. SO what ? Are you a gentleman? I don't think so . shit We get you're disappointed by the delay, we all are, but a little politeness towards the team wouldn't harm. Developing complex software isn't like making a ham sandwich, (or a chip butty for our UK viewers :) ) it ta...

Re: Dissapointment in the Windows Team

Telling us we are failures as writers because we dare to question the delayed release of a version that has been promised for two years is a sign of a toxic environment and cult thinking. Reading these posts is making me regret my purchase of Scrivener. Methinks it may be time to move to Google Doc...

Re: Commitment & responsibility...

out support resources for the new Compile feature counts as "ridicule." I made the transition myself as a Mac beta tester, before the resources I've linked in this thread existed. It wasn't fun. But if you'd like to prove that you're smarter than I am by ignoring them, feel free. Katherin...

Re: Infinite TRIAL mode

Yes, there are a number of ways to defeat trial periods, all unethical IMHO. People deserve to be paid for their amazing work and they gotta eat. Apart from that Scrivener is so reasonably priced. Another company would have you paying for it every 12 months, Adobe would have you paying for it every ...

Re: Commitment & responsibility...

I find it interesting that mac users come here on windows forum and put down those who speak their minds about the countless delays of over two years since it was promised. They are clearly here to troll and give windows users a hard time for voicing their concerns and frustrations. I have yet to s...

Re: GUI bugs? Matadata and Bookmarks

Yep, moving Scrivener from internal display to external monitor toggles the display issue.

Couple of tweaks and all is good.

Re: GUI bugs? Matadata and Bookmarks

It is something specific to your system. I also see many cut labels. You can try updating your graphics driver and adjust some of the Windows screen and font scaling settings. Using multiple monitors with different resolutions might also cause this side effect. Thanks. All systems are fully up to d...

GUI bugs? Matadata and Bookmarks

Unless it's specific to my system there seem to be the following two GUI bugs in .22

Re: Beta won't run on Snapdragon processor

One additional caution I’d throw in. The ARM devices will emulate 32 bit applications and 64 bit won’t work as mentioned above. Apple is ahead of the wave on this with 64 bit applications being pushed for the last couple of iterations of MacOS and only 64 bit from Catalina forward. At some point I’m...

Re: Beta won't run on Snapdragon processor

Perhaps one if the L&L staff could comment, however thus from Qualcomm. ‘Windows 10 powered by Snapdragon processors will offer the same apps and features as Windows 10 on tablets, notebooks, laptops, and PCs. Devices will run Universal Windows Platform (UWP) and Win32 apps through emulation.’ W...

Re: Commitment & responsibility...

Of course you’re free to go elsewhere, however you and the others are ignoring the fact that 1.9 does everything needed to output top class work. Yes it doesn’t have all the ‘frilly bits’ of Mac 3 yet, but that doesn’t stop it being better than any of the alternatives available. As I said earlier .....
