Re: Tinderbox

I really am interested in learning why people swear by Tinderbox. Always looking for a new tool to unlock the imagination. Tinderbox is more than an application—it is a means of thought. You must delve deep into Tinderbox to start to understand it process. It is rather like what the CREB protein ...

Has anyone contacted Mark Bernstein about this matter? I too am a Tinderbox licensee.

My arsenal consists of:

Scrivener
Tinderbox
SOHO Notes

P.S. And I am not even a writer, but I am very much into processes.

Tim,

I had to chuckle regarding your last post because I have done the very same thing! No matter, I am sure I will do it again.

Tim,

The Think disk image clearly states, in the header, the following:

1. Drag to your Applications folder.
2. Eject disk image.
3. Enjoy.

I have yet to have issues with Think, but I have not run it from a disk image.

Scrivener is such a bargain that I cannot see, for the life of me, why anyone would want to pirate it.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Unfortunately, you know the software is good when the hackers post a serial number for it. A friend of mine is a developer, and he watches the hackers to see if they have posted serial numbers for his software. Since I have been raving to him about Scrivener he told me that it must be popular as the...

Eagle Filer, Tinderbox

Here's a newcomer on this scene with some impressive credentials (SpamSieve): http://c-command.com/eaglefiler/ Tinderbox is yet another, but your mindset needs to be along the means of how it works, and might not work for you: http://www.eastgate.com/Tinderbox/ I own a license to Tinderbox, and I lo...

I have used GrammarianProX for years, and find the developer quite pleasant. It too is a niche market piece of software, but has other features that make it worth it like those found in TextExpander, some basic features as in TextSoap.
