Re: Is there a one-step way to create a subdocument in Binder?

Having different shortcuts to alter the new child/sibling creation is a good idea. I cannot promise that it will be implemented, but I will add it to our feature request queue. As we match functionality between Mac and Windows it might take some time until implemented, if we decide to go down that ...

Re: Is there a one-step way to create a subdocument in Binder?

Hi guys, testing this in v1.9.9.0 using Enter or Shift+Enter works the same in Beta 12. A sibling document is created if you press "Enter" while a document is selected. A child document is created if a folder is currently selected. This is the expected behavior, and the idea is that the n...

Re: Is there a one-step way to create a subdocument in Binder?

It would be useful to have the ability to do this, but I suspect it's not going to be. What you might consider as a 3rd party solution is AutoHotKey (free tool), with which you could define Ctrl-Return in Scrivener 3 as "Enter, Enter, Ctrl-right arrow, enter," which would add the document...

Is there a one-step way to create a subdocument in Binder?

I described the problem last December, but got no response. In Scrivener 1.9.7 you could create a new document in Binder as either a sibling to current document or as a child (sub-document). Pressing Enter or Shft+Enter respectively worked well for the tasks. In Beta 12, however, there has been no w...

Beta 12: Adding new entry in Binder: Apparent Inconcistency

When I add a new entry in Binder, I want it to be either a sibling to the currently selected one or a child. In previous version (1.9.7) there were Enter (to insert a sibling) and Shift+Enter (to insert a child) shortcuts that worked fine. In Beta 12 Shift+Enter still does the same as Enter, namely ...

Beta 11, 12: Shift+Ctrl+V doesn't work in Inspector Footnotes

All standard copy-paste shortcuts, namely Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V work as intended in Inspector Footnotes, but Shift+Ctrl+V doesn't. Even though there is a respective menu option („Paste and Match Style“) in Footnotes and it works fine.

Shift+Ctrl+V works properly only in main editor.

Is it a bug?

Re: Customizing toolbars

Using the update installer should preserve your options including the toolbar settings. I think it was a good question concerning possible toolbar settings' transfer. Namely, is there a file where the current toolbar settings are preserved? (So far as they are not preserved with other preferences.)...

Re: [LH3305] Composition Mode Editor seems to reset on exit (аgain?)

Thank you, tiho_d. As I have been already using the Beta in some research/writing projects, and find it comfortable, elegant and reliable enough for practical use, it seems so important to iron out even such small irritating things. This zoom one is by no means serious, but I really happy it is abou...

Re: Composition Mode Editor seems to reset on exit (аgain?)

I am afraid the problem I described above stayed unnoticed. To put it as simple and clear as possible, when I enter Composition Mode from Scrivenings Mode, Composition Mode Zoom is always 100% (while Text Scale figure shows zoom previously set, say, 125 or 150%), Scrivener never remembers previous s...

Re: Composition Mode Editor seems to reset on exit (аgain?)

It was announced on Beta 4 publication: «Fixed a bug that reset the composition mode editor zoom to 100% each time you entered composition mode.» I am not sure that betas 5 to 10 were all right with that (rather no than yes), but the bug is definitely present in B.11. Paper width and paper position...

Re: [LH3034] 2.9.0.5, 64 bit. Scrivenings view, changing documents causes crash

Checked once more time before installing the patch (the project in use is the same Scrivener 3 new demo tutorial). Had stable and reliable crashes at 150% view. After what seems to be 2.9.0.6 was installed, all seems fine. Thanks a lot and my congratulations!

Re: [JH] 2.9.0.5, 64 bit. Scrivenings view, changing documents causes crash

The bug can be easily reproduced even on v.3 tutorial. I hope there will be 2.9.0.5.1 version before long. The crashes occur a bit too often for me to keep testing this one.
