Re: How to protect an iPad Pro?

"What's your use case? Do you take it hiking, or just between your house and the local coffee shop?" That is a good point, especially when maybe the question arises to avoid actually writing..."I can't write as it may be lost if my ipad explodes or Thor smashes it with his hammer. Hm...

Katherine

This is exactly what I based my choice on.
Decided it was better for me to use the full function of the iPad with the Smart Keyboard.

Re: How to protect an iPad Pro?

I've got a 10.5" iPad Pro - I use the Apple smart cover on the front and an Otterbox Symmetry case on the back. I probably would have just got the Apple case for the back, but for some reason they don't make it in the 10.5" size. I quite like that combo so far - doesn't add too much bulk,...

How do I fix scrivener linking?

When I link documents with [[]], the other document now comes side by side in the same window with the document I'm linking to. How do I put it back to making a pop up window when clicking on the link?

Jolanth Szatmary wrote:Yes, that's right - contents of the Research folder would usually not be part of your publication. Individual documents and scrivenings do show the word count, also when they are placed in the research folder, but they do not count towards the total word count of your draft.

Thank you :)

Re: External backup for Scrivener iOS files?

There is a better way of creating backups in my opinion. If you go to the main project screen and tap the Edit button you’ll find a gear button along the bottom. Tap that, and then select the project you wish to back up and “share” it. This will present a few options based on your configuration. I ...

How to protect an iPad Pro?

Looking for some advice on what type of case to buy from an iPad Pro. I purchased a catalyst water proof case, which cleaves no inch of the iPad open for potential damage, which I really like, but the freaking thing serious mutes the screens tone and camera abilities. So, I'm in the market for a new...

External backup for Scrivener iOS files?

Is there a way to do this? I don't like the idea of dropbox because I heard if the files get corrupted, they do so through all platforms... I have an external hard drive for my Mac, wanted to try to get the iOS version of scrivener for versatility. Also, will iOS eventually be updated with the new 3...
