[LH3278:FIXED] Section type not saving

HI. I made a custom section type called InfoPage, and I asign it to some documents. https://thumb.ibb.co/hsJNhf/Scrivener-2018-11-03-08-53-09.png I save, close, and open Scrivener again. The documets revert to default SectionType, https://thumb.ibb.co/hHhJoL/Scrivener-2018-11-03-08-54-47.png

Re: Compiling to Word with "Styles"

I've been having trouble figuring out how to export with styles in Windows (so I can use docx to plug into inDesign). So I tried what nontroppo suggested. You must do this manually in your Compile format. You set up your Heading 1-3 styles in the Compile Style Editor pane , and then you use these st...

Re: Compile - Add front matter outside Manuscript

While on the subject, on the Compile / Edit Format / Separators
The Separator between sections / Custom
is not saving the text.

[LH3006] Compile - Add front matter outside Manuscript

I don't know it it's a bug or something in the "To Do", but here it is:

Under compile, there is an option to Add front (and back) matter. Whatever I choose there, does nothing.

Re: ios 11 support of "files app"

What I find anoying about dropbox is that it doesn’t sync in the backgroud. Let’s say I want to quickly type something in my phone... I have to wait for it to sync... and it syncs a lot of files. Then I write something. And I have to actively tell it to sync... and wait... I don’t know if it’s possi...

Folder sync with docx

Hi. I saw a pos from 2010 that explained why folder sync doestn include doc and docx files. I was wondering it the reasons (Apple exporters) still hold. Also, if it applies to the windows version. I use folder sync all the time, and rtf is gettin problematic. Microsoft seem to be moving away from th...

Re: [Suggestion] Beta warning window is anoying

Thanks. That's a great solution. If anyone else is interested, this is my autoHotkey script: #NoEnv ; Recommended for performance and compatibility with future AutoHotkey releases. ; #Warn ; Enable warnings to assist with detecting common errors. SendMode Input ; Recommended for new scripts due to i...

[Suggestion] Beta warning window is anoying

Hi I’m wondering if there is a way to make the “this beta will expire in...” window less intrusive. Maybe a way to shut it off, maybe only show it every week, maybe remove it if you enter a serial key. The thing is I mainly use the beta at this point, as I find it stable enough. But the modal warnin...

Re: ios 11 support of "files app"

I'm curious about this myself. I mean, given how iCloud works with iOS devices now, wouldn't it be better than Dropbox? Would't it have better sync if the os is doing the syncing insted of having to call the Dropbox api every time you want a file sync? I haven't coded anything like that, so I'm just...

[LH2534] Styles in RTF External Folder Sync

I don't know if this is a bug, or a non implemented feature in the Windows version (have no idea if it happens in macOS). One of the nice changes in V3 is the use of styles. I'm a fan of styles, and have been using them in word for a while now. The thing is that I'm also using "Sync with Extern...

Re: iOS version be available in Colombia App Stores?

I don't understand most of that, but.. ok.
It's weird since I've bought and seen lots of apps done by small companies and individuals.
But, regardless, since there is no Legal way for me to buy your product, do you recommend Scrivo Pro for Scriveners, or Storyist?

Re: Open text documents in external editor

I understand. I'm very happy with Word (I already bought it, so I don't have to buy another program), but I agree that it's not ideal for working with long documents. I wrote my previous book with Word, and in the end, it was getting hard to manage it. That's why I gave Scrivener a shot. I really li...
