That's where it really matters. So that's perfect. :)

Re: Non-breaking spaces inside quotation marks would be appreciated

Thx for the quick answer, the code and the bug report to Apple !!! That's helping ppl ! I noticed this bug on previous versions of mac os and haven't even noticed that Sierra had fixed it. So I was to live with it on Scrivener 3... I've just tested Scrivener 2 on an old macbook with Sierra. Space ar...

Non-breaking spaces inside quotation marks would be appreciated

Off topic : Scrivener seems awesome ! I haven't been able to use all the new features but the new zoom and so on... Great. On topic : In French, the words inside quotation marks have to be separated from the marks by a non-breaking space, that way : « Hello, my name is… » You don't write «Hello, my...

Re: Anything to share about Scrivener 3.0?

I disagree that it is Aqua or a throwback, because we were careful to use flat colours. Oh the app is great enough that it doesn't matter! :D But c'mon, at least admit that icon is retro. Case in point: here's a screenshot from my daughter's ancient iMac... too bad it won't run on it, ha! I ...

Re: Corrections not working in any case

I've identified the bug and am able to reproduce it at will (on iMac and MacBook pro) : "script mode pop-up windows (Action, Character... ; Character names) don't show up in composition mode" How I systematically reproduce it : - first, I put Scrivener in full screen mode by pressing the ...

Re: Anything to share about Scrivener 3.0?

Ah, the Apple review process. We seem to be having problems getting Scrivener 3 through review because the minimum system requirements specified on our site for Scrivener 2 are different from the requirements for Scrivener 3. :) So the current interpretation of those three videos should be: I'm com...

No... A man who uses the Bangles or Guns n Roses as hints is incapable of manipulation.

Wow, it's getting febrile in here! How about three definitely completely and utterly random music videos to keep everyone going? Re: Mis-capitalization after "i.e."

In Scrivener, at least on a Mac, the word after "i.e." will automatically be capitalized, which is very much annoying. To reproduce, write out "This bug—i.e. the one that capitalizes words after "i.e."—bugs me." The "the" will be changed to "The", d...

Re: Personal Request to Keith: if S3 not out, give public beta, or allow us into private beta

Reading @4miler, @melmoth2 and the others, I think L&L should start a writing contest about the release of Scrivener 3.
There's here food for novel writing : passion, hope, desire, eagerness, (emotional) blackmail...

Re: Can't see the font!

Changing the resolution of my screen every time I use one specific program ? Not very handy, right ? Heya, @PerlinP. MacOS has specific features for folks like us with weary eyes and you won't have to fiddle with your screen resolution. If you look under the accessibility tab under System Preferenc...

Re: Can't see the font!

@David Munch : Thx for these advices, David :) even though I knew those tips. Changing the resolution of my screen every time I use one specific program ? Not very handy, right ? But everything is possible ;) When using my Macbook, I can read the font name on Word, hardly on Scrivener. A slightly bi...

Re: Anything to share about Scrivener 3.0?

Scrivener 3 arouses so much passion !!! That's impressive :)

Take your time, L&L. We, users, need the best Scrivener 3.0 possible.

Meantime, any writer can use a pen and a scrap of paper or... hey ! why not Scrivener 2 ?
