Yep, seeing this as well.

Re: RC10 considerably slower than RC9

Hey guys! Just updated to the latest version of the program, and I've noticed some significant performance decrease. I'm organizing my book in chapters, so that each chapter is a folder, and each scene within that chapter a text file. Whereas with RC9 I could instantly switch between folders, and t...

Re: RC10 Keyboard Shortcut issues

As the wiki page states: "On keyboards that lack a physical Meta key, its functionality may be invoked by other keys such as the Windows key. " The Meta key in this case is the Windows key often found between the left Ctrl and Alt key with the Windows OS logo printed on top usually. Give ...

Re: RC10 Keyboard Shortcut issues

Hi - Thanks for the great enhancements this release. I love the idea of Shortcut Themes, and I went with "Scrivener for Windows v3", the future-oriented local flavor. Meta-Shift-R -- for Reveal in Binder -- doesn't seem to be working, and I see it's probably because Meta keys are now dist...

Re: Crashing in the Corkboard split-view of the Tutorial

@xiamenese - The content of the Research folder is the content that is included as part of the Tutorial. I'm going through the tutorial to learn about v3 features and capabilities. @Jestar - I experience the same issue when viewing the Research folder in corkboard view in a single pane. I also move...

Re: Crashing in the Corkboard split-view of the Tutorial

I've repeatedly encountered crashes when I perform the split-horizontal view. I can successfully view the 'Draft' folder in Corkboard view, but when I click the 'Research' folder, Scrivener experiences a severe slowdown (the mouse pointer changes to an hourglass). When I attempt to click inside the...

Re: Is this possibly a Text Color bug?

Am I mistaken to think they should be white? And, if I am mistaken, how do I make what I type now show up in white instead without having to go back over what I have changed, highlighting it, and changing it to white? I think the way Scriv works is, new text adopts the color of the text immediately...

Re: RC9 (2.9.9.9) - Bug of the view and layout settings.

Thanks. But. Steps: 1. I open a new blank project. 2. I set up this settings: * Use Label Color In (Icons, Index Cards, Outliner Rows); * Outline (Show Subdocument Counts In Binder). 3. I Save a Layout with this settings... 4. I close the project. 5. I open an another new blank project. 6. I load t...

Re: RC9 (2.9.9.9) - Bug of the view and layout settings.

Ran across something while trying to follow along with this thread. Check out the keyboard command to open Layouts and the Scratchpad (the red color highlight in the screenshot). Yep, they are the same. And when trying to use that keyboard command, it brings up the Scratchpad. Oops. Annotation 2020-...

Re: [LH4663] Doing Find in Scrivenings Mode

Just to make things interesting, I opened the problem project in Mac Scrivener and tested out the find in scrivenings mode. It worked as expected - no problem. I tried all of the clean-up (remove blank lines, page breaks, zap gremlins, etc.) and saved it to see if that might make a difference in ho...

JUST TO BE SURE THIS IS QUICKLY AVAILABLE TO THE DEVELOPERS (should they ever want it): My original post shows the link to the video of this happening. Two small projects are in this zip file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gjnaojriot8woz6/ScriveningsTest.scriv.zip?dl=0 ScriveningsTest.scriv - the proje...

Re: RC9 Bug : Missing checkbox on Compile Metadata screen

I switched from the HiDPI version to the normal version and went looking for the "Open compiled document in default application" checkbox that I used in the HiDPI version, but it is not on the Compile Metadata screen of the normal release. Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me... Does t...

Re: [LH4663] Doing Find in Scrivenings Mode

Does the Windows 3 Beta have Edit > Text Tidying >Zap Gremlins? If it does have you tried it? :) Mark I don't see it. I see a few "fix it" type things, but nothing like Zap Gremlins. Those other things did not fix it. I don't think Zap Gremlins has been implemented in the beta yet. FWIW, ...

Re: Doing Find in Scrivenings Mode

Thanks for checking Jestar. This project was 1. started in Google Docs, which became too slow at about 80K words. 2. It was pasted into a single Scrivener 1.9 document, then split many times to reasonable chunks. 3. I then ported to Scrivener 2.9.9.8 (RC 8) and all was well. 4. I upgraded to Scrive...

Re: Doing Find in Scrivenings Mode

I hope that L&L keeps in mind that opening a simple test project (with just two tiny files) and closing instantly ALWAYS causes the right search behavior in my original project. I'm sure they will. But to debug the problem, first they need to be able to recreate it. Do you have a project that c...
