There is no modifier that I am aware of. It is kind of the unofficial mouse button of the world, outside of various fringe things like RISC and Linux. :) That said, some Apple programs do make use of it, Safari for example. Firefox uses it to close tabs, and to open links in a tab, too. In firefox ...

Clearly I haven't been paying close enough attention to the beta2 feature list discussions ;-)

Selective outline view

The "Notes" thread started by Lord Lightning triggered a wishlist item for me... So, you can "edit scrivenings" on an arbitrary set of files, but I noticed that you couldn't select the same arbitrary set and have them show up in the outliner. Or at least, they didn't show up for ...

Re: Notes & Synopsis

3. Yes, I have thought of BINDER > OUTLINE. It is not satisfactory. As I stated in my previous request post - "I lay out a full chapter outline - a sort of scene by scene map. This enables me to work on the draft and have it scroll while still having my chapter outline in front of me in the No...

ui bug: status in outline

not sure if this has been reported, my internet connection tonight is simply *horrible* (insert: so horrible I'm attempting to post it the next day, with some difficulty), but: In the outline view, if an item takes up more than a couple of lines (eg, a long synopsis), the status chooser centres the ...

I didn't even see the alternating background, when I was going through the tutorial and looking for it because it was mentioned... I set it to a slightly more visible grey too.

I just ran through the tutorial and my other half kept looking at me funny as I said "sweet!" and "this is fantastic!" out of the blue :-)

Now to find time to actually write...

Kaed, I see what you mean. I do think my question still stands, however... if the end result is that you don't write, a change of habits may be in order. And for the record, I speak as somebody who has quite a collection of writing books for very nearly the same reason. :-) KB: absolutely do NaNo! I...

So say that everything is text-based and that the only way to store PDF files, movies etc is by dropping them into a text view [...] right-click on an attachment within a text view or drag it into a header view to then open the attachment in a dedicated viewer I don't know, that seems kind of clunk...

I just took a glance at the "free stuff" page (wanted to send a link to blockwriter to a writer friend) and didn't see blockwriter listed, so I sent them the direct link to the download instead.

Just wondering if that's not listed on purpose or if it was an oversight...
