Re: Best way to manage different versions of same scenes / sequences?

So just to manually make a snapshot of each document / folder after some time / amount of words or so? Suppose one has three (slightly) or more different versions of lines / phrases a person speaks. One of them will be the one being used at the end. How could one manage such different versions the b...

I guess, it is not doable that it would switch between the two panels only.

Re: How could I prevent Scrivener to let the icons disappear?

If you use Tools > Save and Rebuild Search Engines, does that fix the issue? No, it does not. What does the search index have to do with the icons? Why does it make a back up when pressing that item: https://i.imgur.com/fstuWec.png What about resetting the UI? After closing and starting Scrivener t...

Yes, you are right. Grat! Unbelievable, I was convinced (don't know why) none of those options would do it.

Thank you very much!

Can one search for words being in a title and / or folder / document / content independent of the order of the words?

Can one search for words being in a title and / or folder / document / content independent of the order of the words and the amount of words separating them? So it is the a search like Google it does by default. E.g.: searching for "bites" "horse" (in the search field) or "k...

Re: When I edit / add text the texts jumps up or down. How could one avoid it?

Both the Mac and the Windows Beta versions have a menu entry for Typewriter Scrolling (View > Text Editing > Typewriter Scrolling) and there's a tick against it when the feature is on, none when it's off. Cannot find it here. It's been years since I used the Windows current release and in any case,...

Re: When I edit / add text the texts jumps up or down. How could one avoid it?

The feature works independently in normal editing mode and in Full Screen composition mode — you have to toggle it on or off in each mode. Yes, I had found them. It's been years since I used the old version so can't tell you where the menu option is (or if there actually is one), sorry.Perhaps the ...

Re: When I edit / add text the texts jumps up or down. How could one avoid it?

If you go into Keyboard options and search for Typewriter there should be a shortcut for it to use ad hoc when you need it. Ah yes, that's it. I assume, it is shown somewhere but I cannot find any display showing whether that option is activated or not. It's possible you unknowingly activated it wi...
