Any idea of how long it would take? For now I use the following work around, I use MS Word to make a citation with Zotero and then copy paste it into my Scrivener footnote. So far so good.

Re: Urgent: 75,000 word book in jeopardy

I am glad that you were able to get your book back after that scare. After having lost a lot of files after a HD crash I learned the hard way that you can never have too many backups. I eventually moved from PC to Mac and that was a blessing because with Mac you have Time Machine. It backups everyth...

Re: Zotero Plugin

Not sure if tree is still reading this, but the zotpicknix scripts link Scrivener and Zotero in Linux (similar to Dave Smith's applescripts for Mac). You'll find detailed instructions with the scripts. There is also a discussion of alternative Linux workflows in the Linux section of the L&L for...

Re: Zotero integration please!!!

You can already use Zotero with Scrivener. Scrivener projects aren't a final format, so you scan and process your citations once you have compiled to RTF or ODT, using the Zotero tools. I don't believe there are any Cocoa or Objective-C APIs available for Zotero that would make closer integration p...

Re: Zotero integration please!!!

I use Zotero with Scrivener for all of my projects. It's actually incredibly simple. When writing, simply copy citation from Zotero, insert in text. Then when you export as RTF (if you do) you can format in Word. I realize everyone doesn't use Word (I'm an older professor, writing articles and book...

Re: Zotero integration please!!!

I've found a workaround that fits the bill for me. It does require some post-processing, so it isn't as nice as something like Bookends integration, but it does the job. (This is a Mac workflow.) I use the Zotpick applescript to insert Better BibTex citations into Scrivener, then I use PanDoc to pr...

Re: Plug-in capability

Been 7 months and no reply to this simply request. I would also like to have Zotero work nicely with Scrivener.

Re: Feedback from training session

I would love to have Zotero work well with Scrivener. Then it would the perfect combo. Lot more academics would purchase it.

Re: Make footnote from selected text

Thank you Katherine for the clarification. Is it explained anywhere in the manual?

Re: Make footnote from selected text

Thanks Hugh.

But I searched the manual and that chapter specifically before coming here. I thought maybe the creators of the software could shed more light on it.

Make footnote from selected text

I am fairly new to Scrivener but so far happy with its capabilities. I make a lot of footnotes and wanted to add the footnote icon into the toolbar. Then I noticed that there are two different icons (I have attached screen shots) the one on the right is the standard one I was expecting but the one o...

Re: Converting a whole document from block paragraphs to indented paragraphs

Thank you both for your comments. It seems that I had an older version of Scrivener and have now updated to the latest version. I will just play around with it and see how it works. Hopefully, it won't break. So far I like it.

Converting a whole document from block paragraphs to indented paragraphs

Hello. I am totally new to Scrivener. I normally right for the web using block paragraphs but for my next project, a book, I want to have a paper as well as digital version. For the paper version, I want indented paragraphs and for the digital version block paragraphs. Is there a way in Scrivener to...
