...forgot to mention you also need to select all the items in the Outline before dragging and dropping!

I don't think you can add keywords to items in the Binder but you can in Outliner mode. Select the relevant items in the Binder, then switch to Outline View. Drag and Drop the required keyword onto one of the selected titles in the editor.

I'm having a problem with the layout function. According to the manual, a saved layout is supposed to preserve 'corkboard/outliner/scrivenings/editor mode for each split', however this is not happening for me.
