Re: Working with a large number of image files in Scrivener

I faced exactly the same problem. I have four large Scriv files (from 1.7 to 3.8 GB each) of a combination of jpg and pdf copies of historical documents, either jpegs taken with a digital camera or PDFs produced by a microfilm scanner. Originally I had my manuscript and my reference materials all in...

Re: Export Research Folder To Curio

I had a similar problem. I had the draft of my book in the same Scrivener project with an ever-increasing amount of reference materials, both jpegs and PDFs. I ended up moving the draft to another project, but keeping the reference material in Scrivener. That solved any slowdown problems. It also me...

Please, give us a minute. I'm at work.

Seems to work well. I like the way control-drage moves everything.

Re: Scapple Beta - New Users Please Read

With you on this 100%, Keith. It is interesting that virtually all of the almost unanimously positive reviews and reactions to Scrivener remark on the amazing number of things that you can do with the program's various built-in features, but also that the features are well-integrated into the whole....

Yay! Many congratulations.

See the attached jpg for my first Scapple test. I started with a Yay! item and a Boo! item. Guess what, so far nothing in the Boo! column.

Re: Will auto-generate work "in reverse?"

For some reason this makes me think of the miniature Professor Frink's response when the miniaturized Lisa Simpson asks why he can't reverse the shrinking process "Well that would require some sort of a Rebigulator which is a concept so ridiculous it makes me want to laugh out loud and chortle!...
