Re: Misc. Bugs & Features

Do you think the OP might mean that the CONNECTORS don't move during dragging? Because they don't for me, either. Just the notes. The connectors reappear when you end the drag. Doesn't bother me, I must say. Tinderbox has a similar thing (only "ghosts" one of the notes when you drag a bunc...

Feature wish-list - the most important one

What I want is no more features . None. It's fine. Enough with the tyranny of choice already. (I'm prejudiced. In the thing I'm working on currently, there's an annual festival called Genugstag which celebrates the day -- "Enough Day" -- when everyone decided that progress was all very wel...

Movie Draft?

Anyone know what happened to Movie Draft? It seemed to stall earlier this year and I haven't seen much on it since. I know Movie Draft Mark was ill for a while, but does anyone have any idea whether it's still a going concern? I liked it a lot and would be sad to see it languish.

Re: Dissapointed with Revision Mode

Here's how I see it. Scrivener's revision mode is for you, when you're writing. Once you compile it for delivery (you *do* compile, don't you, rather than copy and paste?) it stays in Word, is commented/edited in Word, those comments and edits are acted on or not in Word and Scrivener's task is done...

Hi Keith. You're on holiday. Do Not Check In.

(But when I've got my project back in shape I'll send you a copy)

Ta.

Re: Changes to Script Settings not "taking"

Thanks... Yes, I tried that -- and everything was (a) sort-of-reformatted as far as margins, font etc go, but also (b) converted into General Text...

This is a right old piglet. I think I'll just reformat everything in Final Draft and reimport it, and try to solve the problem later.

Changes to Script Settings not "taking"

(Scrivener 2.3.1/ OS X 10.8) <- What by the Flesh of the Prophet that damned smiley is doing there, I have no idea. I haven't seen anything about this on the fora, so this is by way of a preliminary RFC to see if it's just me. I remember (I think) that originally changes to Script Format were non-re...

Re: Corks: possible to add text directly to underlying document?

There's no practical reason I couldn't get rid of Scrivener's main editor altogether and replace it with a photo of Bob Monkhouse.

Yes! That's what's been wrong with Scrivener ALL ALONG. I see it now.

Just do it, Keith, there's a good chap.
