Eerie pulsating THING

Maybe this is a spooky Special Effect rather than a bug but OS X 10.8.2 Scrivener build 22551 Typing in an inline annotation when there is no trailing space between the end of the annotation and the following text. To clarify, let the parentheses stand in for the annotation demarcators: If I am anno...

Re: Feature request: Notes attached to connections

(continued from above post, due to 3-image limits on the board) ...and now I move Second Note: Screen Shot 2013-03-04 at 7.00.12pm.jpg ...and it remains attached to the others. BUT the pesky arrowhead between First Note and "Comment Note" is the fly in the ointment. Yes, we can remove it m...

Re: Feature request: Notes attached to connections

@Mark - yes but doing it that way, the "Label Note" doesn't split the connecting line between First Note and Second Note. It just *looks* that way, until you move one of the other notes. Your way: Screen Shot 2013-03-04 at 6.55.51pm.jpg Now I move Second Note: Screen Shot 2013-03-04 at 6.5...

Re: Feature request: Notes attached to connections

You can sort of do this already. Double-click on the connecting line and the connector splits, & a new note is inserted at the split. Before: Screen Shot 2013-03-03 at 5.56.41pm.jpg After: Screen Shot 2013-03-03 at 5.58.11pm.jpg The problem is that the type of connector is respected; as you can ...

Re: Courier Prime TTF Font free for download

Seconded. Very handsome and if you're confined to Courier 12pt -- screenplay, stage plays, anything which follows the rough 1 page = 1 minute guesstimate formula -- it's a hell of a lot easier on the eye than the alternative. And, as others have commented, it has a PROPER ITALIC font.

Re: Writing Outliner Word Addin

Looks oddly very much -- very VERY much -- like a rip of...what's the thing called? Oh yes. Scrivener.

The idea of plugging in a layer of Scrivener over Word... well, the words "lipstick" and "pig" spring to mind.

I apologise for the above post. It's this Bluetooth keyboard. Honestly. I was just very tired. And anxious. I'm fine now. Starting tomorrow everything will be different.

Re: Default note styles

Lash-up solution, of course -- save a copy of the document-with-all-the-styles-I-want, go to Get Info in the Finder, and mark it as Stationery.

Meet-you-halfway solution would be to have Select Default Document... in Preferences or File menus.

Just a thought.

Re: Default note styles

Can't see anything in Scapple>Preferences that does it. Let me clarify. - I'm in document foo.scap - In foo.scap, I create a note style with bold 14pt text, a bright yellow background and a border. - In Format > Note Style >New Note Style From Selection, I name this new style "Standout" - ...

Default note styles

I see that Set As Defaults only applies to those settings in the Document pane of the Inspector. Is there a way -- current or planned -- to set Note Styles as defaults? I don't use most of the preset styles but have a few I use a lot; I know I can import them from another document, but it would be s...

What does one have to do to get a poke around here? -- The Chronicles Of Bargepole by M. Bywater Did I really say "poke"? It's not that. It's a line from Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band . Emory's, I believe. "Who'd'ya haveta f*** to get a drink round here?" I thought I'd tak...
