Re: Anything to share about Scrivener 3.0?

Yes ... very tight lipped :D
However, whatever may come, Scrivener gave my work as an author such a positive drive, that I am going to buy it blind folded, too. :D
Can't wait for the next big thing ... pardon ... next paid version. :)

Anything to share about Scrivener 3.0?

After a few hints I read in the forum about the possible release of 3.0 for Mac in 2016, I am certainly thrilled and anxious to know more about what's coming. I know you guys won't share any release plan - which I understand. But is it possible to give us some idea about the new paid version, even j...

Re: Have you ever thought about ...

Hi Keith,

Thank you for your answer.
I really appreciate it.
The idea to collaborate on a scrivener project file, using all the advantages the stand alone version has, was thrilling me for a moment - but yes, I do understand your points.

Greetings from Germany,
Thomas

Re: Have you ever thought about ...

So the answer is yes, they have thought about it - but neither resources nor plans ... That's fair enough.

Have you ever thought about ...

... bringing Scrivener to the next level and make it a web based collaboration tool for teams - including all its excellent tools for writers the desktop version has, to enable authors, lectors and correctors to log on at the same time, working on a manuscripts together? This would also eliminate al...

Re: How's it looking for beyond 2.7 ???

Do you mean like a new paid update with a UI refresh? And a full styles system? An overhauled Compile system? ePub 3.0 support? Writing history tracking? Enhanced custom meta-data? 64-bit support? Huge rewrites under the hood to keep it strong for the future? Enhanced outlining? That sort of thing?...

Re: How's it looking for beyond 2.7 ???

Hi Katherine, Thank you much for your quick reply. First, I want to say I am very happy with Scrivener, as it works now. It became my main tool for ePublishing and I do not want to miss it. However, there is always something that can be improved or enhanced. I would wish to have some basic text veri...

How's it looking for beyond 2.7 ???

Hi Scrivener Team, I know everybody is now after Scrivener for iOs - so am I - however, since there were just a few system related updates in the past two years, like adapting Scrivener to Mavericks and the following MacOs versions, I was wondering if your team is actively working on a new feature s...

Time for tabs? Some suggestions for GUI improvements.

Hi Scrivener team, Time for tabs ... ? I am handling a pretty large project with Scrivener, more than 50 novels in one project file, which works fine. I am also very happy with all the GUI functions so far, so there a are just a very few "wishes" I have regarding the interface. Having so m...

Enhanced text analysis

Hi Scrivener Team, Wouldn't it be nice, to add-in some basic text analysis tools, like color marking of "word repeat", "adverbs", "passive writing" or "conjunctions"? One thing why people often have to move to another tool ist a missing grammar and a pretty ba...

html5 Publication format

Hi Scrivener team, I just saw on the advertisement of Quark XPress the new feature to create html5 publication formats, which makes them somehow independent from reader hardware - it can be read with a browser. Are you planning to add beside the standard html compiler output a specific html5 publica...
