Thanks.

You could always use the Share function from the IOS Scriv projects screen to email the project over to your desktop.

The latest version of the beta will always be found linked in the first announcement in the beta forum.

Re: Word count to cursor with multiple documents selected?

Hi Kallaste, It sounds like you want to know the cumulative word count at any point in the project. I don't know of any way in Scriv to accomplish that precisely, besides the method you're already using: selecting the first doc and shift-selecting the ending doc, at the location where you want to kn...

Yup, I see the same thing when in tablet mode, on a ThinkPad Yoga X1.

Re: OneDive

I've seen posts here from people who have had no issues using OneDrive to store their live projects (base project folders). I've also seen posts where projects stored on OneDrive have been mangled. So--it's a risk. If you're already storing your zipped projects on OneDrive, then I see no upside for ...

HI mariani, As per this blog post, L&L will no longer be providing tentative release dates. https://www.literatureandlatte.com/blog/scrivener-3-for-windows-further-delays > "We’re not going to give another release date until everything is fixed and working properly." < Your best way of...

Re: What font do you use?

I've always been a monospace fan, and a Windows user, and I love Courier...but not Courier New (ugly, thin, anorexic font). I use Courier Prime whenever I can. It was originally developed for John August, a screenwriter, and a Mac user as well, so I'm sure it moves between Windows and Mac just fine...

Re: Scrivener 1913 Sluggish Start

And when was the last time you rebooted? By rebooting do you mean restarting Scrivener or restarting the PC? If any of them would help to eliminate sluggishness, can you explain why? I meant rebooting the PC. I suggested it because rebooting the PC is low-hanging fruit. If I had a dollar for every ...

Hey cigoLogic, thanks for the book recommendation. Stuff on the web for the Zettelkasten method is sorta scattered, so I've been keeping my eye out for a book.

Re: Navigation in binder

@rwfranz - Yes, in Scrivenings mode, I'm seeing the same behavior as you. To sum up for me: When arrowing through the binder - In Corkboard - Scriv works fine. In Outliner - Scriv works, but with potentially very long pauses over folders with many docs. In Scrivenings - Scriv stops as you've describ...

Re: Navigation in binder

I notice this if the default for the chapter is Scrivenings, but not if it's Corkboard. I prefer Scrivenings as the default display mode for chapters; I don't use Corkboard once I've got things organized. Hmm. The beta sometimes has challenges processing a folder that contains many documents. I've ...

wordjoy, thank you for posting this. Great suggestions. Only thing I have to add is, a screenshot is worth a thousand words. People, please include screenshots if there's any chance it'll help communicate your issue. When it goes to release I will be taking some time to move my WIPs to clean files ,...

Re: Navigation in binder

I'm not seeing this behavior on beta 26, and didn't on any of the prior versions, that I recall. Arrowing up or down through the binder keeps going through folder/document boundaries, same as 1.9. As a point of reference, my current binder at most is 3 levels deep: Folder > Folder > Doc. You may wan...

Re: ios Snapshots

Hi rawitten,

The setting Ioa is referring to is in Mac Scriv.

See section B.7.3 in the Mac Scriv manual. Are you saying you're not seeing the option referenced there?

Best,
