v1.9 issue - Editor Display location changes

Hi, The document text line being displayed at the top of the Editor changes after any of the following actions: - viewing/hiding inspector - viewing/hiding binder - copy/paste of text inside the editor The editor shouldn't jump to a new location in the document after these actions. I believe these a...

Re: Any chance of supporting Jump Lists in the Windows version?

In Win7, I work on multiple Scrivener projects at the same time the old school way: I add a shortcut to the projectname.scrivx files to my Favorites folder. If your Favorites folder is already too cluttered for this, another option is to create a new toolbar folder that contains the project shortcut...

This morning I was using Full Screen + the Inspector, and thinking to myself how handy it would be if James' #1 request were implemented!

Re: Can I save my Corkboard to a Word Doc?

If this is for viewing purposes only, you can do a screen capture of your Corkboard and paste the image into a Word doc.

Re: Tracking questions & to do items (Simulating OneNote Tags)

No worries David. Robert, thank you for the detailed reply and for your suggestions. I've concluded that any approach that separates the notes/questions from the text they apply to adds too much overhead for what I am trying to do - too much interruption/distraction during the brainstorming process ...

Re: Tracking questions & to do items (Simulating OneNote Tags)

David and Robert, Thanks for the response, sorry for my delayed reply. Here's some additional information on what I am trying to accomplish. I am planning a novel. I do a lot of pre-work. I've got character sketches, world-building, plotting notes, research, scene notes, etc., spread across a dozens...

Write at work using Scrivener installed on Work PC, save writing to cloud. 2- Write at home on Scrivener installed on Home PC, save writing to cloud. Go to work. Wri...

Tracking questions & to do items (Simulating OneNote Tags)

I would like to track open questions and to do items for myself inline in the document text in Scrivener. In OneNote this is trivial: simply add a Tag to the text. Tags can be viewed across documents, so I don't have to keep a separate list of open questions and to do items. I am trying to simulate ...

2) Make a copy of the entire file, preserving the draft but offering no easy way to compare the two. When I am done with my first draft, I will make a copy of the entire .Scriv folder and rename it to "Project FIRST DRAFT". I will then continue to make my second draft revisions in the ori...

If you buy yourself a mechanical keyboard and turn off wifi, you'd be two-thirds of the way there....

Can you bring your tablet to work and connect to internet via your work networK? If so, you could use the "Alternative Method" mentioned in this article to do Scrivener work on your home PC and also on your tablet: https://scrivener.tenderapp.com/help/kb/cloud-syncing/using-scrivener-with-...
