Re: Small screen...

Amber.

In case no one has told you so, yet: You are a gem (or do you say "pearl"?). Almost any time, anyone asks a technical question, you come up with a useful answer. WOW.

And: No I have no "hackintosh", I use an ordinary Mac Mini.

Best wishes from Germany,
Franz

Re: StoryBox

I'm a Mac programmer and user, so I personally will never code a Windows version. :) My priorities are always going to be making Scrivener for OS X the best it can be, and all my time is currently going into 2.0. So, there will certainly never be a Windows version of Scrivener from me ... OK. So th...

Re: StoryBox

Of course, I *still* think folks should wait for the official Windows version. ;) Keith. Are you working on a Windows version of Scrivener? When do you expect to have it ready? Until recently, you always stated that there would be no Scrivener for Windows from you. It is in this thread and in the t...

Re: What?? Where??

Think Tank, for example. Or Lotus Agenda - one of the most sophisticated programs ever written (the DOS thing, not the Windows time management program, imitating a Filofax on screen, which was published under the same name). Not to talk about Ecco (Windows-program). Think Tank was the precessor of ...

Re: Framemaker

Rayz. Why would you want to write a novel in Framemaker? Framemaker is great when you write technical documentation with a lot of graphics, tables, equations and hyperlinks/references. None of which is of use in a novel (at least in a "normal" novel). However, Framemaker is quite expensive...

Prion. If you need handwriting recognition, the Paperium Digital Pen might be the right solution: Technically, it is comparable to the Pulse Pen but there is also a handwriting recognition software available. However, Paperium is an Austrian company. I do not know whether the Paperium products are a...

jennydiski wrote:Thanks, Franz. Does the Bamboo work directly in Curio (or Scrivener)?

Yes.
In Curio you can use the pen for writing, sketching and for pointing and clicking (like a mouse).
In Scrivener you may use the pen as a mouse replacement.

Re: Methods using Curio 5

Jenny. Can someone tell me more about Curio and a) the pulse-pen - is this a direct note taking feature I long for? b) the Bamboo pad -what is this? What do they do, do they work? The Pulse Pen is a digital pen that allows you to input handwritten text or scribbles into your Mac (and into Curio). Al...

Re: The status of the next update and 2.0

Hi Keith.

$20 for the upgrade? Where's the problem? Even if vs2.0 offered only half the features you revealed, that would be a big bargain.

So: Go ahead, finalize vs1.2 and start/continue with vs2.0. And be sure you have our support.
