... and 5 (from 6) points from Mac Life, a German Mac magazine. The review was printed in the 05.2007 edition (sorry: not available online). The only complaint the reviewer had was that you cannot drag and drop docs from the Finder into the outliner. They had the Scrivener demo on their magazine CD....

Re: Ergonomic Keyboards

Hi. I love keyboards with curved design. On my workhorse PC, which happens to be a Windows machine, I have an old Microsoft Natural Elite keyboard. I sometimes even take it with me when I know I have to type a lot at a customer´s place. A year ago, I bought a spare Natural Elite keyboard just to ma...

Short of asking your editors to use Scrivener or rtf editing techniques (annotations and highlighting, colored text, strikethrough, etc.), which admittedly can nearly duplicate Word's comments and change tracking functionality, the only other recourse I can think of is to maybe use NeoOffice? I don...

Hugh. As a Windows user for my daily work I switched to the Mac for writing some time ago. I bought Tinderbox, Devonthink and Ulysses long before Scrivener came out. And I must confess: I do not use TB, DT nor Ulysses today, I moved my current novel project into Scrivener - that's all I need on the ...

Smart quote support? Dang! All of that work will need to be edited out of the Leopard version! I would imagine that there would be a number of text engine improvements, myself Oops. Sounds like there will soon be a Scrivener for Tiger and a Scrivener for Leopard (with all the extra work stripped th...

Sorry, I was a bit too fast: >>(On the other hand a friend of mine quoted: "You don't finish a text, you give it up.") I think your friend talked about "Text abgeben". That's not the same as "giving up" but "delivering" it (to the editor) and "giving it a...
