Re: Some accentued caracters are not allowed in comments ...

In case it's useful, this issue is not fully present for me: 1.7.2.3 beta (64 bit) on Ubuntu 14.10. I can produce accented characters with the keyboard in marginal footnotes and comments, and within inline annotations and inline footnotes. I can paste accented characters into marginal footnotes and ...

Re: Several functions not working

Scrivener for Linux is very much in Beta. Some things simply don't work yet. See this post on the current situation and the advantages of using WINE. But in the meantime, the price is good... :) Here's my experience, in case it's of any interest; please note I'm running 1.7.2.3 32-bit, and some issu...

Re: Scrivener Scratchpad Uses Invalid Linux Pathname

I have the same problem. I cannot put any text into Scratchpad notes or rename the notes, including after applying the fist-cancel workaround.

Ubuntu 14.10, Scrivener 1.7.2.3 32-bit.

Great you got it working! Welcome to the Scrivener Linux club :D .

Re: New(ish) Linux user, having problems installing on Fedora 20

Sorry to state the really obvious, but are you sure you're not running 32-bit Fedora on your 64-bit machine? A 32-bit OS will run on 64-bit architecture (though not the other way round). If you have 32-bit Fedora, you need to install 32-bit Scrivener, even if your machine is 64-bit. You can find out...

Lost footnotes, comments and annotations on paste

When I cut or copy and then paste text which contains any footnotes, comments or annotations, these are all lost from the pasted text. Interestingly, if I paste that same text a second time, the footnote/comment/annotation appears correctly on the second occasion. Running 1.7.2.3 beta (32 bit) on Ub...

Re: Scrivener 1.7.2.2 Linux released 15th July 2014 (LATEST)

Installed 1.7.2.2 32-bit .deb on Ubuntu 12.04 from the command line. Updated from 1.6.1.1 without problems. Huge improvement on the last version! Thank you so much. A joy to write with. Two minor snafus - neither of these is an issue for me so I didn't check logs and haven't collected any useful inf...
