Re: Compiler: is there an easy way to reset it back to default?

Thanks, Amber.

I'd misunderstood the concept that the choices under Format As put back all the ticks, suffix tags etc to how they were.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Compiler: is there an easy way to reset it back to default?

I'm getting to grips with the Compiler, and have messed around with various settings.

Can I put it back to the way I found it when I first installed?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Some keywords wishes

Adding to this, I'd really like to be able to right click on a card on the board or an item in the outliner and add a keyword that way. I know I can do it with the Inspector, but the right click would be easier.

Re: Can I do a Synopsis Outline compile with numbers?

The one in the Compile dialog is called Non-Fiction Manuscript Format. I've fiddled around with that one and still can't find a way to make the Synopsis points numbered rather than bullets. Sorry, I think I misunderstood your need. If you want the outline printed with a correctly indented and numbe...

Re: Can I do a Synopsis Outline compile with numbers?

Thing is, it's already an existing project that I was trying to accomplish the subject heading question with at the Compile stage. The preset will work with an existing project too and is to be used at Compile stage. You can tweak the settings if it does not match you desired output. Sorry, I think...

Can I do a Synopsis Outline compile with numbers?

By default, I get bullet points. If possible, I'd like numbers. I've poked around in the various settings in the compile dialog and can't see a way to do it.

Is there a way?

Dammit, Amber, I feel like an idiot for not finding this.

Thanks for the pointers. You've made my workflow nice and flowy now.

Corkboard: drop a card onto another? And drilling down?

I'm re-outlining at the moment, and using cards representing major plot points to hold constituent cards beneath them. Ideally what I'd like to do is drag a card and drop it onto the holder card on the corkboard rather than using the binder. Can this be done? I'm thinking the answer is no. I've done...

Got a Mac and got Scrivener for Mac

Wow. I notice the difference. Biggest boon for me is "Sync to External Folder". Being trimorphic OS wise (Windows, Mac, Android), it really helps to be able to Dropbox .txt files and work on them wherever. You don't really appreciate it until you see it in action. Great piece of software d...

Project Statistics showing 0 for printed pages in screenplay

It's not a huge deal because I Print Preview and get the count, but just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong. It shows the paperback count, but the printed count is always 0. I've played around with the Compile settings (i.e changing it from .fdx to .pdf), but it still always comes up 0. Using ver...

Re: Final Draft summary not showing up

Thanks for the reply.

Good, in that I thought I was doing something wrong. Bad, in that I wished it did.

Does it on the Mac?

I'm possibly going to buy a MacBook Air at some point.

Final Draft summary not showing up

I don't know if it's because I'm using FD9, but when I do a compile to an .fdx, the synopses do not show up on the summary side of the index cards in FD. In the manual it says this: Final Draft 8 .fdx For transferring your script to Final Draft, this is the best option unless you have an older versi...
