DropBox Sync suggestion

I have a copy of the file on iOS and it is closed. I have the same file on my Mac and it is closed. I open the file on Mac and make edits and save the file to DropBox and close the file. I go back to iOS, and I open the file and make changes. If I try to Sync, then and only then , does it warn me ab...

Re: Working offline and saving to iPad

Oh gosh, I understand. I have a friend who travels for work and finds himself regularly without a decent connection. I haven't used any of the other third-party apps that work with Scrivener, there are some good ones from what I've read, maybe one of those can help improve with the sync? I'm wonderi...

Re: Working offline and saving to iPad

I just tested your question, it seems to send the sheet to a CONFLICTS folder on the bottom of your Binder. I really dislike that many programmers call this "sync" when using DropBox, it's more of an upload and download. It's fine for me and I've learned how to navigate it, but newer users...

One click sync

Hi, I'd like to suggest a one click sync option for syncing with Simplenote. Its annoying to have to go through so many mouse clicks to sync.

One-click Sync

Hi, Im currently syncing a single sheet with Simplenote. It works fine. Is there a way to just do a single click sync instead of going through the File>Sync>With Simplenote menu each time? I see an icon for Sync available for the Toolbar, but it is greyed out when it's on the toolbar. Any suggestions?

Re: MAS 32-bit or 64-bit?

I know this is an old thread, but I had to pull out my old MacBook with Snow Leopard. I loved that Scrivener ran fine, but bummed that the demo of Scapple can't load. It would have been nice to use both side-by-side! Clearer information on the download page would have saved me some time and bandwidth.

Saving/Exporting a video already in Scrivener

I imported an MP4 file into Scrivener. I have saved the Scrivener file as a single file. I would like to export the video file back out onto the desktop, how can I do this? I need to extract several videos so Im searching for the easiest method.

Thanks!

Re: Beach ball every few keystrokes

I'm going to increase the time to 10 seconds and see how that works. The original photos were large, and I scaled them down to very small sizes in Scrivener, so it may make sense to shrink them outside of Scrivener first. Previews are important to me, so I will see how this goes. Thanks!

Re: Beach ball every few keystrokes

Amber, thanks for the reply. The Scrivener file itself is large, but this page is only a short paragraph with some text and three photos, nothing more that maybe 6 or 7 megs total. When inserting a linked image, can we do so from an image saved within Scrivener or does it have to be external? And if...

Beach ball every few keystrokes

Hi, I have a large file that now is frustrating to work with. Every few keystrokes (3 or 4) the beach ball appears for a few seconds. I have 3 gigs of ram available so it's not a memory issue. I've turned off TimeMachine and Crashplan as well so it's not a busy harddrive. Any suggestions are appreci...

Re: Table and HTML colors

You are both correct! I have no clue how or when that was installed. How can I use CSS colors with my tables? Suggestions are appreciated. Many thanks.

Re: Table and HTML colors

Amber,

Thanks for the help. I wouldn't have installed anything like that on my own for sure. Below is a screen shot, is this a default? Thanks!
