Re: Scrolling in Editor

Do you have Typewriter Scrolling turned on? If so, turn that off.

Check the Format Menu | Options | Typewriter Scrolling

Re: Board glitch?

There's an option in the Admin Control panel that admins can choose whether posts in specific forums count towards a user's post count. http://upix.me/files/nehWuP/Capture-09172013141904000000.jpg It's quite buried in phpBB: Admin Control Panel | Forums | Edit the forum you want to manage | Groups' ...

Re: Scrivener and high CPU usage

Do you have the Project Targets window open by any chance? I've noticed a bit of a CPU spike/sluggishness when I'm typing with that open, but it goes back to normal as soon as I close it.

YMMV of course.

Can't Bold Project Notes in Full screen

Not sure if this has been reported (or if I'm just missing something obvious) - did a quick search and didn't see it. I was just trying out Full Screen mode for the first time. I added a new entry into the Project Notes window, selected it and hit Ctrl+B to Bold it - nothing happened. Same with Ital...

Re: Substitutions - separate lists for each project?

I don't follow why you would need to use Word. If you mean as a place to run your final search for any mistakes, couldn't you just dropped the compiled RTF file back into the project Binder and do the search there? It's handy have a compiled copy of the manuscript in the Binder anyway. *Jaw...

Re: Substitutions - separate lists for each project?

Heh, I was afraid you'd say that. My main issue there is that it would require me to use Word *more* (and possibly go back and forth a bit to make corrections/re-compile etc). Whereas if possible I'd prefer to remove Word from my work flow altogether. Working in Word more would be a step back for me...

That looks like something that I may be able to get a lot of use out of in the future. Thanks.

Substitutions - separate lists for each project?

Hi all, I've been using Scrivener for a while now, great tool - CTRL+Space (to convert multiple spaces into a single space) alone was worth the price for me. :D I also make rather heavy use of Substitutions as a time saver. I'm a transcriptionist, so certain common phrases I've set up as substitutio...
