Now I can compile without having to close the beta and reopen my file in the "proper" version of Scrivener! Huzzah!

Thanks guys! :)

Re: Beta 1.5.0.5 : snapshots not in the order in the liste

Hmmm, it is sorting them, just... by the day first rather than the month... it seems to be treating them as an alphabetised section rather than a date section (since Windows should be able to organise dates by year > month > day even using a dd/mm/yy date format)... As a temporary workaround, you co...

Re: Using Scrivener across multiple machines

No, you need different licences for Mac and Windows versions. Though I think I remember reading somewhere that if you move permanently from one to the other you can contact Lit and Latte support to have your license changed - but that means you won't be able to use it on the original platform anymore.

Re: page breaks between para's when I compile

When I type new text directly into Scrivener (as opposed to pasting text in from Word)...

It looks like OP is having the issue with text written IN Scrivener, NOT pasted from Word.

Re: On open

No, it just opens whichever project I last opened, regardless of whether or not it was the last project to remain open - what's open when Scrivener is closed doesn't seem to affect what opens the next time I start it.

On open

Just two minor things: 1) On open, Scrivener opens the last project opened rather than the last project I had opened/closed last. This means that if I'm working in Project A, open Project B to check something, close Project B, continue working in Project A for several more hours and then close Scriv...

Re: Targets in Full Screen Mode

It gets hidden by the FS interface. I can see it if I make the background transparent, but not if I black it out to remove the distraction.

Re: Compile a document

Only things in the draft/manuscript folder get compiled - anything in your Research folder won't, ever.

Re: Targets in Full Screen Mode

Alas, doesn't seem to work in windows, and the usual ctrl+, to bring it up out of FS mode also doesn't seem to work while in FS. Ah well. At least if it's in the Mac version I know it will be coming to Windows eventually. :)

Targets in Full Screen Mode

I know the FS mode is supposed to be minimalistic, and I really love that, and the general look of it/arrangement of the interface. But I'd also really like to be able to view my targets - especially my session target, though my project/document targets too would be great - while in FS mode. I use m...

Re: Multiple references to the same footnote?

Generally if people around here know, they answer. So my guess would be that it's not... I know the beta has a redo of the footnote system with inspector footnotes, so I don't know if that overhaul features the ability - but if so it wasn't mentioned in the most recent release. However, if you know ...

Re: HELP! Did "save as" now ALL text in novel is gone!

Additionally, text going missing when saving to Dropbox can easily happen if one doesn't follow the best practices outlined for working with file synching programs outlined here. It may no...

Re: Returning to cursor position not working

...yes, yes it was... idek how that happened. xD Apologies to the OP for accidentally jumping their thread. Wouldn't the manuscript/draft folder work as a discrete variable for the word count total? Just a total count for all documents inside it would probably work for the majority of people, based ...

Re: [1.5.0.5] Exe vanished?

Oh, I wasn't worried about my projects - I know they're all safe and sound in a location that is very much not the install directory. ;) And I reinstalled without issues last night after I posted - just wanted to report the issue in case it was a Scrivener and not a Windows Explorer problem - and if...
