Scapple problem in Scrivener

In 2.4's manual, it states that "If a .scap document is dragged into the Binder, it will imported as a normal file." I tried to drag a .scap document into the Binder, but the Binder rejects it. I was also unable to import it as the .scap file was dimmed in the import window. I'm running Sn...

Re: Apply Note Style not working in 0.9.0.3

What happens if you create a new document - does "Green Bubble" work in new documents? It may be changes in the settings between versions. I created a new document; "Green Bubble" still doesn't work. Also, any changes I tried to make using Apply Note Style don't show in the undo...

Apply Note Style not working in 0.9.0.3

I selected a note and tried to apply Format > Note Style > Apply Note Style > TItle Text and also Format > Note Style > Apply Note Style > Green Bubble, but nothing changed in the note. The note contains a sentence with only the first word capitalized.

Re: Scapple for Mac - Beta Testing Has Begun!
Point to centre just means point to the actual note centre, not to the edge centre. So, imagine the line terminating at the centre of the note itself. The arrow is pointing towards the centre, it won't be at the centre of the edge. Thus, yes, it will shift when the notes...

Re: Scapple for Mac - Beta Testing Has Begun!

Feature request: I would like to be able to add padding to a note to increase the separation between a note's text and its borders.

Re: Scapple for Mac - Beta Testing Has Begun!

In testing the current version of Scrapple, I have a question about the Inspector option, "Point to note centers." I created a new note, connecting it to an existing note; however, the dashed line connecting them does not point to either note's center. In both notes, the dash line connects...

Re: Back and Forward buttons

In Nisus, the Back and Forward buttons allow you to restore the previous or next selection in a document.

Back and Forward buttons

It would be quite helpful if Scrivener had the "Back" and "Forward" buttons that Nisus has.

Re: Compile Question

Check out the "Separators" and "Formatting" panes of Compile. Also see the section on Compile in the user manual. All the best, Keith After reviewing the Compile chapter in the manual again, I've discovered how to get a title to appear at the top of a page and what causes a docu...

Compile Question

When I compile for print, the titles of the text documents are each appearing on a new page (though their names are not in the documents). What's causing them to appear? Why are they vertically centered?

I'm using the General Non-Fiction Template in the current version of Scrivener.

Re: General Non-Fiction template question

Check out the "Formatting" pane of Compile. Adjust the paragraph spacing below the title using the "Other..." option from the line spacing menu. That didn't increase the spacing after my Section 1 subtitle (see image below), which is the only one I want to add line spacing to. I...

In the General Non-Fiction template, how can I increase how much spacing there is below a section's name in the printed version?

Questions about GENERAL NON-FICTION format

1. How can I change the font and font size of the headers in the main pages (e.g., Title, Foreword, Content).

2. How can I change each paragraph's first-line indent in the chapters?

3. I've given each section a specific name. How can I get that name to appear in the compiled version?
