Funny thing happened just now while I was working. Couldn't get it to slip back into normal position. All I did was erasing the first line under the separator.
just checked the forum and the manual but could not find anything about this: Is there a way to turn off the separators in the Edit Scrivenings mode of Scrivener 2? They look beautiful but for me they impede the "flow" of the assembled text.

Thanks for your effort. By now I have gotten used to the lag and don't really mind it anymore. Scrivener has been my professional home for three years now; I am not going to move out just because the front door screeches when I open it.
