Re: [LH3614 | LH3790] Compile error: some linked sections in the compiled document (PDF) start with <$rst_scene>

I still have linked sections (for example in the TOC) starting with <$rst_scene> with beta 22 / RC2.

Re: [LH3897] BUG (serious): program crashes when compiling

I'm happy to confirm that this crash during compile issue is fixed in beta 22 / RC2. Thanks! However all the other outstanding issues are still present, so I'll update each thread. Tiho, I'll email you a compiled PDF of the project I sent you last week to illustrate all the outstanding issues, as th...

Issues/Questions about compiling for Kindle

Hi there, I have a few questions re compiling for Kindle. With the latest version of Scrivener Mac, it looks like I get the following behaviour that I don't remember getting with older versions: - When compiling a long document (200-500pages), and not specifically to Kindle, compile takes a very lon...

Re: [LH3897] BUG (serious): program crashes when compiling

You're welcome, glad I could help.

Waiting to hear about the other outstanding issues reported over the last few betas that are still not fixed in RC1.

Re: BUG (serious): program crashes when compiling

This is a different issue, so I suggest you open a different thread if you want it logged. My manuscripts are much smaller (less than 500 pages, a 2MB PDF) and I can reproduce this issue even with the manuscript reduced to a small size, as explained below. Thanks for posting though because I did mor...

Re: BUG (serious): program crashes when compiling

Hi Tito, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I can't send the full project due to confidentiality reasons. The smaller project I have made specifically to report all the other uncorrected bugs does compile fine, but my two main projects (one published book, another unpublished yet) do not. I gue...

Re: [BUG] Impossible to select all the sections in scrivenings

This is still not fixed in beta 21 / RC1. Select all in Scrivenings only selects the current section, which isn't the expected behaviour. If I only want to select the content of a single section, I'll select that section in the binder. In macOS, select all in scrivenings selects all the displayed se...

Re: [LH2548] Error importing lists from macOS version

This isn't solved in beta 21 / RC1. I still get the check marks replaced by bullet points in my lists when I import my Mac OS project. I see that the checkmarks seem to be replaced by bullet points when compiling to kindle instead of compiling to PDF. Is it by design? Can the Kindle not handle check...

Re: [LH3614 | LH3790] Compile error: some linked sections in the compiled document (PDF) start with <$rst_scene>

I haven't seen the <$rst_scene> issue in mt test project (my main project crashes scrivener PC during compile, so I can't test it for this).

However, the page numbers issue hasn't been solved in beta 21/RC1. the page numbers are all the same in the TOC.

Re: BUG (serious): program crashes when compiling

This isn't fixed in beta 21 / RC1. In case it matters, although the projects that cause Scrivener 3.0 PC to crash compile fine in Mac OS, I noticed that they take a long time (around 30 seconds) between the end of the first progress bar and the beginning of the generation process (where you can see ...
