Re: Disc/partition access conflict with parallels

Any chance for a reply from the team, or should I just strike scrivener off the "well behaved software" list?
I can understand if nothing can be done, but I find the lack of answer disappointing (and surprising).

Re: Disc/partition access conflict with parallels

Bump. Any idea? Scrivener must access/lock the whole disc, not only the partition where its data is located. It would be great to hear if there is a way around this behaviour. Forgot to say Scrivener is the only app that does that. If I start say Final Draft on the Mac, which accesses its files in t...

Hi Keith,

Just checking if there was any chance to see this implemented soon...

Thanks,

[RESOLVED?] Disc/partition access conflict with parallels

Hi there, I have my Macbook Pro set up in the following (unconventional) way: On my original internal drive, I have my OSX 10.8 system partition and a bootcamp system partition (win7 x64 Ultimate SP1) On a secondary HDD installed in place of the optical bay, I have three partitions: one for my mac d...

Scene numbers in binder in a screenplay?

Hi there, I'm trying to make it easier to get to the right part of my screenplay in scrivener when pages don't always match once exported to Final Draft and printed. So I would like to be able to display scene numbers in front of each scene in the binder in Scrivener. Is this possible? I tried to se...

Export scenes only (not index card summary) to Final Draft

Hi there, I've looked at the options but couldn't find a way to do this, even with the filters. What I want is to export a screenplay to final draft, but only with the scenes (scrivenings), not with the summary/outline/index cards content, as these are for me and not for my producers. Is it possible...

Re: Exporting index cards content to Final Draft

I tried it, it works but when when I export in FD the format isn't right (not courrier, no scene headers).

So I think I'll compile the index cards and will move to script in FD.

Thans again for your help.

Re: Exporting index cards content to Final Draft

Thanks, but as I said earlier I noticed they were exported, only they are exported as summaries in the index card view, not as scenes. Although this makes complete sense, my revised question is "is there a way to convert index cards into scrivenings so that the summaries become the draft for th...

Re: Exporting index cards content to Final Draft

Just noticed that the content of the index cards is partially exported. The sysnopsis end up in the index cards view in final draft, but the titles are lost. So I guess I need to rephrase my question: Is there a way to copy synopsis from the index cards into scrivenings before export in scrivener, a...

Exporting index cards content to Final Draft

Hi everyone, As this is my first post here, I'll say hello and well done for the software which I really enjoy using. One question (urgent, as usual!), I've populated a series of scenes using index cards, but when I export to final draft I can't see any way to export the content of the index cards (...
