Yes, I had considered this, but I found that this reduced the document almost—and I'm not trying to be rude here—to a nonsensical level. I think that the document works best when it contains an idea , which ideally should take around 3 paragraphs to introduce, explain, and summarise. Thanks for repl...
I know that an option exists to auto-generate a synopsis from selected text, but I find myself wishing for another auto function. It would be cool if the synopsis could be auto generated using the first sentence from each paragraph in the document . That way, I could easily check the flow of argumen...
Hi all. Sorry if this is an old one, but I have searched for an answer, but in vain. When I use corkboard, and I double-click on a stack of cards, I want to see the next level of cards arrayed in the corkboard. That is, I want to stay in corkboard and drill down to the lowest level of card in a stac...
Now that MacJournal has Dropbox and iCloud integration with its IOS devices, a sync from Scrivener to Macjournal would be welcome. MacJournal could be the default Scrivener on iPad.
OK, fair point about the compatibility. But what about copy/paste? What if I have a Scrivener doc or Scrivening open, I go <Select All>, <Copy>, then paste into Scrapple? I bet that currently all of the copied text would go into a single note. What if I could paste and create a note for each paragra...
Thanks Keith. I agree with everything you say, except the contextual menu. But first, let me apologise for being lazy with the OPML export. Yes, it is there, I don't know what I was thinking :(. When you say the contextual menu does not have to show everything, just the most common things, yes you a...
Plagiarism = lying, cheating, and deceit. It is quite different from being influenced by the work of others.
Detecting plagiarism is quite simple: put two works together. If the later makes you think of the former, and it hasn't been acknowledged, you have a problem.
I also purchased it on day one, when I didn't really need to. The thing is, I am hoping that WriteRoom's excellent word count export will be rolled into it. I have WriteRoom, but it doesn't do markdown formatting.
I would love to be able to open a Scrivener doc directly in Scrapple, with each paragraph making a note. It would be a great way of making sure that the paragraphs flow, and that key ideas work their way through the document. This is something that Scrivener's card system doesn't quite do.
Downloaded today, and loving it. I use iMindMap, Freemind, xMind (free basic version) and MyThoughts. All are good in their own way, but sometimes they feel like a bit of bloatware or otherwise the map looks simplistic and annoying (Freemind comes to mind). I have some observations already. 1. Nomen...
