Trial version not resetting # of days

On v. 25, I've noticed that the day counter on the Trial Version dialogue box does not reset when I start Scrivener, even though I'm clicking "reset". I'm currently at 27 day until the version expires. Would rather not have to download again if possible. Any thoughts?

Re: Use of Shift Key for Compile Check Boxes

Just noticed that the compile screen now saves settings from the last compile session. Very helpful as I don't have to go in and do it all over again. Thank you.

Use of Shift Key for Compile Check Boxes

Don't know that this is a bug, but maybe a needed improvement. When I am deciding which sections to compile, I begin with the Alt key to erase the default checks (great feature), then check the ones I want. As my project grows, there are more sections to be included (I compile as a backup at the end...

Re: Learn Spelling does not seem to be working

I'm having problems with the dictionary learning some of the words I put in to it as well. Writing a sci-fi fantasy novel, I like to put my made up words in to be sure I spell them the same every time. I highlight, right click and click on "learn spelling" and it still shows an error (U.S....

Re: Odd Vanishing Text

Yes, I have admin permission. I normally work from the C drive, then copy everything over to the external drive. When I execute "Back up to...." I have folders on both C and external and backup to both. The exception to this is when I'm using my computer at work (which happily, now has a c...

Re: Indent, line spacing and italics not copying or compiling

What seems to happen is that the italics will run to the end of the line. Example: Original text: "I hope he doesn't see me in here," she thought. Text after pasting: "I hope he doesn't see me in here," she thought. A few times the entire paragraph will be italicized. There doesn...

Indent, line spacing and italics not copying or compiling

I have seen a bit on this before, but not all of these issues. When I compile, italics tend to run past the part of the line they are supposed to be on. Also, line spacing and indents don't always copy from Word back into Scrivener as they should. I have decided that I will not worry about a lot of ...

Re: Deleting following space

I think I'm using the American English (if there is such a thing) but I've been unable to find the setting. I know I saw it at one point. Let me know how to find it and I can tell you.

Re: Recording Writer's Group Feedback

sorry, I haven't been checking my posts. I just put member comments in the document notes section so I'm not limited on space. I'm using note cards to work on the synopsis as I go along, character outlines and other backstory data, but I'm sure there is much more I can do with them. thanks for the r...

Re: Odd Vanishing Text

Ok, I will try to answer as best I can: 1. Yes, this is a laptop, not part of a network 2. I save a copy on my C drive, one on my external drive and occasionally upload to MS Skydrive. In addition, I compile after every writing session and save that document in all three locations as well. 3. Drive ...

Re: Odd Vanishing Text

I see I'm not the only one with this problem. I opened a project today and all of the cards that were NOT in the manuscript section came up blank (I'm using the Novel with parts template). Since I back up religiously, I loaded my backup copy and everything was fine. I'm running Windows XP and v. 024...

Re: Print Binder showing Hierarchies

Until this becomes an option, I was able to insert leading spaces in front of subdocument names to push them to the right after they appeared in the compiled doc. You could also use characters or numbers to accomplish this. When I compiled, the entire list was centered and I had to select it and cha...
