When I hit footnote all the text in the editor disappears/ becomes invisible. As soon as I start typing the footnote, the text in the editor reappears. So the text hasn't been deleted, but it's invisible. Compiling the footnotes works well now.

As I have to use footnotes a lot, it's the first thing I check when a new beta version has been released. It seems they didn't address this bug yet. I hope the final version will have a bugfree footnote option, otherwise it's pretty useless for me.
Only the highend 15' and the 17' got a better graphics card. The low-end 15' GPU is worse than the 2010 series. It doesn't matter ofcourse if you don't use it. I'm a bit disappointed the 13' didn't get the 1440x900 screen like the MBA, that would be very nice.
I'm very excited for the final version. It's great to hear that footnotes will be scrivener 2.0 mac style. Right now, compiling text with footnotes doesn't work properly, so in my case the beta is 'useless' for real work at the moment. But i'm looking forward for the final version in a couple of wee...
