Re: Overwhelming praise

Scrivener for iOS is magnificent. I downloaded it the moment it was available in Australia and used it most of the night in bed and on the train to work this morning. Still getting my head around it. I honestly didn't expect it to be as feature rich as this. Best app I've used on iOS to date and to ...

Re: UK pricing?

Quit bitching! I live in in Australia so that $19.99USD = $30.99 here. Cost of living is higher here and wages haven't moved in 6 years. And don't believe the lifestyle propaganda our (barely effective) government puts out! We work like mules and when we actually have the time to enjoy the great ou...

Re: Scrivener for iOS - When?

am of the 20th here in Aus and my money is still burning a hole.... Have another look this afternoon. It's the first time I've seen all the listings for Scrivo. How many different versions can they stuff into the app store? Regardless of whether the apps are any good, I have to say it looks like a ...

For the record, it's not a complaint - an honest question.

If it breaks Linux support for newer formats, so be it.

I just want to know if it's time to formally remove Scrivener for Linux from my workflow.

Re: Ye Old Name Generator

Howdy folks, I'd like to drop here a few suggestions of mine for improving that oft-neglected little gem of writing tools, the Name Generator. I've been using it a lot lately to help me brainstorm new character ideas, and here are some ideas I thought of that might not be too hard to implement, and...

I wouldn't worry unless you were writing something like Olympus Has Fallen

Re: Screen Sizes

This is the very first time I've ever wanted one of those monsters. Except it would put the lie to my main enthusiasm for iOScrivener: Being able to carry my Scrivener projects in my pocket . My boss has just bought a 6S+ and i agree it's a monster. Definitely a device for a jacket pocket o...

Is it safe to assume these updates will break compatibility with the last Linux release?

Edit: damn you Chrome auto-correct

Re: What will you do with Scrivener for IOS that you couldn't do before?

What will you do with Scrivener for IOS that you couldn't do before? Get on with my life. No, seriously. I've been stymied by indecision about my choice of platform (Mac vs Linux) and workflow (Scrivener vs pure Markdown). I'm leaning back to Apple (Linux desktop has been a disappointment for writi...

Re: Automation beyond Applescript (which has never been implemented anyway :) )

I would love automation support for Scrivener. Though AppleScript isn't my favourite language since I'm a Python man through-and-through. Back in the day, VoodooPad had pretty good support for Python (and JXA) complete with hooks to Cocoa. I'd love to see that kind of implementation on the Mac versi...

Re: iPhone like Predictive text

Chris is going to be happy with me: I have a Mac OS, in the form of an older Mac Mini. In fact, I have been a Mac user for more or less half my career so I am really familiar with macs and I own one. Actually my first computer was a Mac Plus with 1mb of RAM and eventually I even purchased a microwa...
