Printing bug?

I wanted to print out a copy of what I'm working on to work on adding to it at a coffee shop (netbook is a Linux machine), so I used View -> Page Guides to show the page area, and lined everything up inside the pages. Print Preview shows that I have multiple pages to print. But, when I print, I get ...

Re: [Bug?] Text after a pasted link keeps being part of link

I don't know that I'd call it a bug. Most text editors do something like that. For instance, you past in something that is bold , and then everything after that is bold as well. It's continuing the format that you pasted in. What I usually do is make 2 spaces, or an extra return, and then go back in...

Re: New beta?

I believe that is the current version of the beta: 0.1.0.2. I haven't seen any alerts about a new one yet, but I'm sure it's coming.

Re: Open-Office-Documents

This just came up in the Wish List forum as well: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2663 That being said, I thought it worked in an earlier version. I have LibreOffice and OpenOffice.org installed on my computer here at work, and all I got was a link to the document. Th...

Re: Open-Office-Documents

Keith, you might want to check your date... I think I see what he's talking about. I'm running 1.6. When I go to Import -> Files, .odt files are not a file type that can be selected in the Windows version. I know it works, though. I think what I've done is drag a document file (from Windows Explorer...

Linux port?

Out of curiosity, will there be a Linux version of Scapple? I do a lot of writing on a Linux netbook, and it would be useful to have both on the same system.

Re: What Linux program similar to Scriv OR just good?

Calligra (the KDE-related office suite) announced one called Calligra Author last year. I doesn't look like anything is released yet. I'm seeing another called Plume Creator http://www.plume-creator.eu/site/index.php/en/ as well. Doesn't look as polished as Scrivener, though. Or as well documented.

Line colors?

Any chance we'll be able to have different arrow/line colors at some point?

Re: Release plan?

It's gotten to the point that when a fellow writer talks about how they can format their kindle books and blog posts with Scrivner--I'm better off using Word, they obviously have the Mac version. I'm putting my hat in with the bloggers who use Scrivener. And I'm using Windows/Linux versions. I have...

Re: timeline and custom meta-data fields, when?

Timeline, never. Keith has stated that adding a timeline isn't something that really fits with Scrivener. I don't know where that post is right now. Custom meta-data (as well as other features) are in the works, we just don't know when right now. Feature parity with Scrivener 2.x (Mac) is what they ...

Re: MMD compile to FODT

Well, that worked. Should there be a note in the tutorial about that, maybe? UTF-8 should be used instead of System Encoding?

Thanks szegan!

Re: MMD compile to FODT

Ah, you're right. I forgot that I didn't worry about MMD conversion to ODF. I'd usually to MMD -> HTML

I tried MMD 3.7 and that still didn't work. I'll get in touch with them to see what can be done.

Re: MMD compile to FODT

Strange, I actually had no problems with it on 1.2 versions of Scrivener. I didn't think Libre/Open Office needed a separate module to read those. I'll check that first.
