Re: Printing issue

I just tried to print again from a different project, and had the same result (both from Scrivener and the Console).

Any ideas?

Printing issue

I just tried to print a document from within a project. The printer works everywhere else, but from within Scrivener. When I try, I get a simple message that says "Error while printing." In Console, the following appears: Nov 23 17:51:09 Aiko Scrivener[23926]: Printing failed because PMSes...

Re: Another Split view suggestion

Thank you.

Another suggestion for the QR panels: Can you make them more HUD like (like the keywords panel)?

Re: Another Split view suggestion

I thought of that, but the floating window would just serve to get in my way. My biggest issue by far is remembering which document I'm working in when I change the document in the binder and what I was writing is replaced by the resource I just looked at...

Another Split view suggestion

Keith, Would it be possible to add a way to add a third split view to the editor? I'm working on a rewrite of an essay for an english class (The program is just as useful for academia as it is for fiction writers, IMHO) and I tried to do a three way split (A vertical split between to create two colu...

Formatting presets

I understand how the formatting presets work, but I am confused as to the best order to use them. I had pasted a block of text and applied the block quote preset, and then everything after that was in the block quote preset, and nothing I did would bring it back to the body preset (I think that's wh...

Files showing empty even though something is there

Ok, This is a new one, (for me at least) In my nano file, I have been having scenes show as not having any text (the empty page icon) until I select the file and then it shows like there is text (the page icon has text on it). The project targets screen won't show the text until it's selected. snaps...

Split view suggestion

This one occurs to me as I keep using it, and opening the wrong document in the wrong editor...

Is there a way to take and color code the two editors, and show the selected text in one or the other editor?

Just a thought.

Re: session target oddity

I had tried to simply restart Scrivener, but your post made me think that perhaps I should restart the computer. For some reason restarted the computer fixed this issue... Silly things, them computers...

session target oddity

Ok, This has only occurred since around 1 AM (the second time...) yesterday. In the US we have just returned to Standard time (in my case, Eastern.) Following this change, my session count is resetting any time I switch from Scrivener to another program, (say, Safari or Mail, or Adium.) The program ...

Re: OS X Spelling Dictionaries

I thought it was something like that when I had initially started looking. I had copied the contents of that folder to the Air, but it didn't seem to do anything, so I'm wondering if I had really added anything to the custom dictionaries... I wonder what the harm would be in having something like su...

Re: Scrivener + MacBook Air = ♥

I picked up an 11" Air on Wednesday to help save my back from the weight of my text books. I am all set for Nano to start and me to really put the screws to this brand new machine. So far I am loving this machine and while I'm good at making it beach ball by asking took much of it at once, it h...

OS X Spelling Dictionaries

Greetings, I have recently added an MacBook Air to my collection, and I know that on my MacBook Pro I have added some things to the custom dictionaries. Rather than manually go though and add these things to the dictionary on the MBA, I was wondering if anyone knew if it were possible to simply copy...

Re: Scrivener + MacBook Air = ♥

I'm looking at an 11" Air to supplement my 13" MBP for school. Sure 4.5 pounds is light, but 2.3 pounds is lighter... Add in text books and you have an equation for a back that hurts... I just added an SSD to the MBP, so I essentially have a 13" MBA in an MBP Case... Still weighs 4.5 ...
